I don't think efax is good choice , my experrience : they will give you offer for one month for 5usd, and then they will cancel your account on the following day without your knowledge, they will sell the number to other customer, it is very hard to contact them as well, I am suffering now because I have used the fax number to get incoming fax from IRS , but they cancel my number without informing me, I was wondering why I am not receiving email of incoming, all of sudden I tried to login and came to know that my account cancelled I even don't know.

I have subscribed for a one month free trial that I have cancelled the same day as a precaution. I have still be charged 15 days later for the second month and there is no answer to my various queries to be cashed back. This is simply not honest and not acceptable. Avoid eFax.

I am being told I have to not asked but told I must get a HIPAA compliant fax system upgrade from them. It only costs $499 that's double what I pay now. "Jenna Montaigue" tells me she will keep communicating with me until I do this. Total upsell and crush sales tactic. I will be looking for another company ASAP. Please beware they are no good. I will decide when and where I will upgrade Efax not by a salesperson who keeps emailing me every day! I hope this helps others become aware of the scam and crush tactics. Anything less than a stop-and-desist with an apology is not a valid reply! The representative used language that is badgering. I will continue to try to connect... I directly quote from her email below: "If I do not hear from you, I will continue to try to connect so that we can ensure that we get you successfully migrated to the proper platform for your faxing needs".

Asked them to cancel my account during the 7 day period and they still charged me. They are a scam if you cancel.

I was a paid customer for about 13 years straight. I hardly ever used their service. I simply paid and paid just in case I ever needed it. Finally, I got tired of seeing the charges on my account for something I never used and didn't need. So I wanted to cancel. I did this and then I was charged again. So I contacted them and they said they had no record of me canceling. Then I sent in screenshots. So they forwarded my claim to their refund department. To my amazement, the refund department rejected my claim. I thought this was going to be easy. They ended up wasting my time and keeping my money. They should be embarrassed of themselves. They are pathetic and fought me over a measly 10 Dollars. When I was a customer for 13 years straight and paid every single month for something I never used!

I signed up and sent a fax, never got any confirmation, resent it again, still nothing. After several hours I get a confirmation it was sent. Then shortly after I get an email advising the account was suspended due to me using the service. I must send in a credit card statement to reinstate the account. Who suspends an account for doing exactly what the account is there for? I used their chat and spoke to a Chris who closed the account for me.

Worst experience ever! After many difficulties opening a TRIAL account to test the service, I could not fax even a single page. They asked for my Credit Card info for this horrible TRIAL account, and they charged me 12,20 euros for that! Really!?? IT WAS TRIAL, and I could not even use it!! Then I could not close the account anymore, and I had to write them and ask them to close my account and delete my credit card info. They closed my account, stole 12,20 euros, and told me that if I want to delete my Credit Card info, I have to write to another company! Shame on the company that treats the customers like that. I found another website and send about 20 pages for free!

I signed up to test out fax services from Australia to the US and unfortunately found the user experience to be very lacking. I then on the same day attempted to cancel and understood I had done so. So two months later I am still getting a monthly charge and the required log-in screens to cancel don't work. I have lodged a dispute with the bank of the credit card I used, and will have to do it again. No customer service feedback -- resulting in a very frustrating experience. Avoid this service at all costs!
