Scam Company – Avoid at All Costs I signed up with eFax just to send one single fax. Right after that, I tried to cancel my account — but it was impossible. I couldn't log in, couldn't reach anyone from support, and their so-called cancellation process is a black hole. They never canceled my account, and they’ve been taking money from me every month without my consent. I’ve tried every possible way to contact them. Nothing. Zero response. At this point, I’m preparing to sue them. This is hands down the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. eFax is a joke, a scam, and a predatory service that traps people and makes cancellation nearly impossible. Avoid at all costs.

Never—I repeat, never—use this company! This is a complete and 100% scam. They offer a "free month" or charge a small initial fee, but then, without any notifications or reminders, unlike what reputable companies do, they quietly charge your card. Yes, I admit—it’s my fault that I forgot. But could you have at least notified me before charging my account? Or was that left out on purpose? As soon as the charge went through, I immediately submitted a cancellation and refund request, since I haven’t been using the service for a long time. No one responded. When I finally got in touch directly, I was answered by someone named Mathew B, who was extremely unfriendly and dismissive. He simply told me they wouldn’t refund anything—even knowing I hadn’t used the service, even though I reached out right after the charge. They don’t care. They just keep pointing to the terms and conditions you agreed to when registering. So draw your own conclusions. In my opinion, this entire system is designed intentionally this way. Because reputable companies offer refunds without question—especially when it’s clear the service wasn’t used. Here, all you get is rudeness and excuses. I strongly advise against using them. It’s honestly shocking that a company like this is still allowed to operate.

Very bad experience with efax.com it's a scam I sent a total of 3 faxes after subscribing to the free offer. There were 30 pages in all (so less than 200). They charged me 12 dollar... lol I tried to send them an e-mail, but only automatic replies. I tried to use the chat: a countdown makes you think you're 3rd or 2nd on the waiting list when it's your turn, and a message shows that no agent is available (oh... what a surprise). I want a refund of the 12 euros and at least to be able to cancel the offer before the next debit. Guess what? I can't access their “account details” page on both "old and new version of their website. Everything on their site works except this page. I'm going to block my credit card in any case, and you won't be able to debit a single cent more from my account. Customer ID: 54827124

The first fax was not sent. Then I want to cancel, follow the steps but is still active. Then in the contact page explain what happens and get an automatized answer that don't help. Then email them and they answer I have to contact via the web chat. Then, want to contact them via the web chat they have, and it doesn't work, it says my number doesn't exist. Then email them and it keeps saying contact via the web chat. And on and on... I couldn't cancel my account

Questo per me è assimilabile a una truffa. La sezione in cui ti consigliano di andare per cancellarti non carica .... E' DAL 2023 CHE CERCO DI CHIUDERE MA NIENTE DA FARE, OGNI ANNO PRELEVANO LA QUOTA ANNUALE DALLA CARTA DI CREDITO.45 HO MANDATO PEC, NESSUNA RISPOSTA, AL TELEFONO ATTESE INFINITE E NESSUNA RISPOSTA, E' UNA TRUFFA, NEI PROSSIMI GIORNI LI QUERELERO' ANCHE SE NON SERVIRA' ANULLA VISTO CHE SONO ALL'ESTERO. LADRI E TRUFFATORI NONOSTANTE DISDETTA E RIPETUTE EMAIL, OGGI 17.03.2026, HO RICEVUTO NUOVAMENTE UNA FATTURA PER IL SERVIZIO "E-FAX" A CUI HO NUOVAMENTE SCRITTO A DUE INDIRIZZI EMAIL MA PESNO CHE COME LE ALTRE VOLTE NESSUNO LE LEGGERA'. SONO VERMAENTE POCO SERI.

Impossibile cancellarsi dal servizio e chiudere il piano di abbonamento. Questo per me è assimilabile a una truffa. La sezione in cui ti consigliano di andare per cancellarti non carica, e se si scrive all’assistenza si ricevono solo mail automatiche in cui suggeriscono di cliccare in una sezione che casualmente è l’unica che non carica. Sistema manomesso e poco chiaro.

Fraud / thieves. They refuse to refund money even after I have asked for over 6 months to cancel my account, they keep telling me to log in. I tell them their site continues to not work properly and I cannot log in. They charge me AGAIN. 100% thieves. It's sad that they are so desperate for money that they have resorted to stealing from people.
