while the subscription - cancelation system is really not functioning well, they have great staff / help desk!
To be honest, I don't use faxes often (very sporadically) so the offer '30 days trial for free seemed appealing'. Except it's then very hard to cancel your subscription, as there is no 'online' link or platform to do it. They give you phone numbers but they don't work. Same for emails. Given the bad reviews of EFax, I even thought I had subscribed to a 'scam website'. But as it often works, I tried contacting Efax through their social media platform, like Twitter. Hourra, in just a few minutes, someone was answering to me and canceling my subscription. So while the subscription - cancelation system is really not functioning well, they have great staff / help desk!

Kündigen per Telefon ist schon unglaublich.
Freitag: Nach 10 (!)
Response from eFaxMay 11, 2019
Danke vielmals eFax Supoort-Team

Opacidad para cancelar, valorando funcionamiento
Cancelación solo vía telefónica y no resulta fácil.
Response from eFaxApr 5, 2019
Muchas gracias eFax Support Team

I was on hold for 15 minutes
I was on hold for 15 minutes. That is unacceptable. However, Anna was incredibly helpful once I made it through the hold cycle.

Good service but takes 15 minutes to cancel.
The service for sending faxes worked great. It is a bit expensive and a little hard to cancel but it worked very well for my needs.
Response from eFaxMar 11, 2019

If you could let us know your fax number or customer id via the private message we will send you we will be able to look after your request. Alternatively you can email [email protected] with your details and we will look to reach back out to you as soon as possible. Many thanks eFax Support Team

Efax
Update: They contacted me and offered a refund for the 6 months I haven't used the service. That's cool. In 2018 there's a company that requires that you phone them to cancel their service. They do not require a phone call to start it and pay them, they require it only to cancel it. The sole reason for this is for you to forget to call them (as they're open only a few hours a day, so you have to set up a reminder for yourself) so that they can charge you every month. They're always on hold. This is what happened to me and for the last 6 months since I joined the service. These leaches have debited my credit card every month for $13 although I just needed to send one lousy fax. ONE. So I paid $78 for a fax. I will talk to my bank and see what can be done.

Hi Alin Thanks for your review, sorry to read you were not happy with the cancel process of being requested to call us and the issues you had getting through. The cancel process should be straight forward with a quick call to us, where we will verify your account details and look to process your request there and then on the call. Our office hours are Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm GMT) where you should be able to get through us, hold and wait times should not be to the level you mention and there should be no difficulty in getting through to us, but we would be very interested to investigate what happened in your case. We will have someone reach out to discuss the matter further with you as we would be interested in resolving your matter but also understanding your experience. Many thank eFax Support Team
