I used faxonline.com for years with NO issues. They were purchased by EFAx so my account was transferred. I rarely use it, but would like it to work when I do. I tired to send a fax this AM and could not. After 30 mins online with their support I asked a DUMB QUESTION...Are you compatible with MAC'S and to my surprise was told NO WE ARE NOT. WHAT service is not compatible with MAC'S in today's world???? Unbelievable...they are as outdated as faxes themselves!!!!

Same experience as others - took me 6 weeks to get through to someone to effect a cancellation which can apparently only be done by phone. My credit card company, Nationwide, has been very helpful in ensuring the company cannot charge me in the meantime.

I had the same experience as all the other bad reviewees here. I signed up for a free trial and then tried to cancel within the 30 days. Despite emailing 3 times and calling 5 times nobody bothered to answer the phone or cancel. They then made an unauthorised charge of their monthly billing fee. I then had to waste time calling the credit card company to file a dispute which they didn't hesitate to refund me on. I don't believe any of the 5* reviews on here which I have complained to TrustPilot about. How they get a score 2.7 when 80% of reviewers give them 1* is beyond me. Avoid this company unless you want a lot of hassle and wasted time.

This company is so outrageously sneaky and make it almost impossible to cancel an account. After spending a ridiculous amount of time on hold, an agent upon hearing my request to cancel said' let me transfer you to that department', despite the fact that I had chosen option #3 in the prompt which is for callers who wished to cancel. After another unreasonable wait, the agent asked me a series of questions until I finally said tersely, Please cancel this account. He said I would receive an email shortly with confirmation of the cancellation. Whew..... However, the email that was sent had no mention of confirmation of the cancellation and was titled "Regarding to Contact to eFax".... no where in the body of the email was account cancelled mentioned. Instead it requested I fill out a survey!! I fear charges will start to appear on my card like so many other unsuspecting consumers who have experienced same. I regret no checking reviews prior to registration and will likely need to change my credit card on file in order to prevent any additional thievery by this company. Outright criminal behavior.

Quand on veux annuler l'efax, il est impossible de les joindre au téléphone comme demandé. Après 2 mois d'essais enfin on me donne un autre numéro et entre temps on prélève une cotisation puisque l'efax n'est pas encore annuler!!!!!et pour cause!!!!c'est une arnaque mais que faire ????lire les avis avant toute chose

They charged my Credit Card without my permission. I used them for a few years at a rate of $35.00 a year which was fair becuase I rarely used it for the first few years. At the end of my yearly contract I would get a statement and paid it. The mistake I made was paying it with a Credit Card as this gave them access to my money. This past year I didn't get a statement so they figured we have his credit card number we will just bill it without asking my permission. Not only did they do that but they tripled the billing price. I had no idea that this happened until I noticed on my bank statement that they automatically charged my debit card for nexts year's service but this time it was for $99.00 not $35.00. Well then it wasn't worth it to me at that price so I called to cancel my service and requested my money back. I was told NO they would not give me my money back as I would have had to cancel my account before it was charged. I tried reasoning with them and told them that even though I disagree with that I would agree to pay for one month into the year even thought I didnt use at all. Again I was told NO our policy is you would have had to cancel it before we charged you. I asked how was I to know that you were going to charge me if I never received a statement. I told then that I should if anything only be charged to same as last years bill as I didnt approve this price change? I was told we don't offer that price program anymore so basically the new price is the new price. I contracted Wells Fargo my bank and they said that this is a common problem with ordering services or magazines online and they would also would not do anything for me or reverse the charges back to me because they will lose their money covering for me. Catch 22. What happen to being protected by your bank for unauthorized charges. I was so mad because they had my credit card number on file and used it to charge my account at a new rate without my permission. The other issue is in trying to resolve this I was always told to leave my number for the girl in the e-fax.com accounting department would get back to me and i never heard anything back? I also noticed my review never can be seen on E-Faxes review page This review is based on 100% fact and I am not using any hatred in my rewiew to discredit this company. The purpose of my review is to let others know what the outcome will be if you pay your bill with a credit card. They may start deducting the money from your bank acount as they to me and not send out a statement advising you in advance of their intentions. I would like to add the fact that there are also several complaints on file with the BBB on the same matter as well.

Hard to cancel. Considering cancelling credit card as there's no way out. Signed up to Trustpilot just to add this review.
