Very poor service of CD account. Had funds wired to new account. New account could not verify information on Wire from Edward Jones. Created delay of funds.

I have been with EJ for over 22 years. Up until 2017 their fees were seemingly inline with other companies and also reasonable in their pricing. In 2017 they implemented several programs that you were forced into and instead of annual fees -these programs became monthly fees and were far beyond unreasonable. I had two accounts for me and two for my spouse. Each account showed the same pattern of fees consuming up to 60% of my monthly growth (month to month). In spite of this, their website showed gains of 12-14%. The gains or the fees were not reconcilable in their plethora of statements you get. When I assembled 5 years of data on this -EJ could not explain the variance between their Return % and what I had come up with. I gave my wonderful friend and partner at EJ this information and asked for a response in 5 days. I got none. I proceeded to rollover all my EJ assets to my former employer company plan (new accounts etc) and that began a very long and tedious process with EJ blocking and holding to extract their monthly fees when possible. I dont trust their statements, their advice or their tools to provide me with anything accurate. I dont think taking 65-80% of my monthly growth is in any way justifiable.

Hershal Stone and Edward Jones has lost 67 % of my life savings. They are thieves and do not follow instructions. I started with 430000 and after 5 years they lost down to 190000. I believe this company is corrupt. When I write and tell my story I get rude mean letters from Edward Jones. Edward Jones has ruined my life. I wake up every day angry that Hershal Stone is making money by losing my life savings. He knows he has me trapped because to make any moves to leave Edwards will cause me to realize losing everything.

With Edward Jones for 4 years in West Dundee, IL. Hidden fees only shown to me after leaving for Charles Schwab, who charges me a flat .8 with total transparency. Ed Jones was 1.5. My dishonest advisor once told me he didn't need me. I took his advice. Happy as can be with Schwab. 3 people on my team, including CFP, another with MBA at no extra charge

Terrible service. Huge platform and service fees. People need to do their homework before using these scammers. They don't offer tax advice they are nothing but salesmen. I wished I would have listened to everyone earlier. They charge $95 transfer fee to close acct on EVERY acct. but you can get reimbursed from your new advisor. Stay away from this place. Their customer service is the worst no one is ever in the office - always on vacation. The 800 number is a joke - they disconnected me 3 times. Avoid at all COST!!!

No do not trust them! They are part of the problem! After 10 years with the same advisor I am shocked at how they are now Assisting my soonXhusband to Unfairly Compensate me in our divorce! No problem provided fake statements & Helping Hide Transfers to Undisclosed Accounts & Then Lied to the Judge in Court? Now in contempt of the Decree still trying to hide 6 accounts & then Cashed in my IRA 10 years early & against my instructions? Antiquated Good ol'Boy Bullsh**t & No Womens Rights in Sight!! This N.Scottsdale office is still in a Community Property State? I feel like it's 1885! Instead of 2025! Who takes this abuse from the people who work for them? How many lawsuits & complaints & How many women have been denied their own Assets so the advisor can keep the income earning Spouse in their business! I am looking at 50 months of statements & last page has the list of linked accounts? Every employee has lied & told me there are six accounts? Outside lawyers Quarrels and Brady also joined in? Luckily SoonX jad disclosed 11 acts 4 or 5 times before they changed it & said only six? All edjones still sticking to the fake story? Why is Edward Jones still in business if they have no ethical obligations to the Truth? No fiduciary or responsibility to both Spouses? After all the years in business no instructions for Employees to behave Assisting clients in divorces? Instead they only make it Worse! Would have more if we put it in the mattress! If my ex didn't divert it to his own accounts then Advisor really did give the worst returns ever? No either way! Women are half the population & they don't care

Last year I moved my investments over to Schwab and Edward Jones closed out my ability to access information online. On January 24, 2025, I was sent an email that my tax info was delivered online which I cannot access. Why would they send tax documents to an account they removed online access to? I tried to send a contact form online regarding the issue and was directed to my advisor or the online tax number. There is no option for my issue on the tax menu options, nothing even close. I have been unable to get anyone from Edward Jones to respond. Best decision I made was moving everything out of this company. Still no tax documents as of today. Poor customer service, to say the least.

I let Edward Jones run my self direct portfolio with the promise of professional performance. I got the opposite. Besides the exuberant fees they sold my best performing stocks and replaced them with items which underperformed and lost up to 50% in value. Took my portfolio back and i am running it better than ever. I guess it was the price to realize I can do much better than EJ.
