i own a custom furniture business out here in oregon. My customers can be very picky. I decided to give ecos stains a try and this stuff goes on easy and looks great! Already ordered several more tints for my customers.
100% love this product and the colors are great on my spruce! fast drying time and easy clean up makes my job that much easier.

C Employees are nice but varnish is horrible...
Working with the company was good but their varnish is horrible and not durable. It wore off within a few months of mopping our kitchen floors. Its lasted a little longer in the dining room and living room but it does not protect like regular varnish. So now after thousands of dollars buying the varnish and wood floor stain I have to redo my floors. When the varnish came off , next the color started fading. We did 3000 square feet with this product:( I love natural things but in this case stick to synthetic varnish!!!!

9 gallons of incorrect paint sent! Ruined and stalled whole house project.
Just wanted to say that I had such high hopes for this paint. We are building new and purchased all of our paint from ECOS Paints. We had purchased Alabaster Sherwin Williams paint match. ECOS had sent us the incorrect color which our painter used to paint the whole house with. When we got a chance to look at the paint, we saw that it was the incorrect color. It looks horrible. Upon calling them, they offered to send out the correct paint color, but they did not offer any discount of any kind. We are now out $2000 if we were to repaint almost the whole house to the proper color as we would have to pay our painter again. Not to mention the additional costs to pay as we would have to hold off all of the other workers and have to pay fees because we would be late on our C of O. Additionally, they didn't even speed up the amount of time it could be shipped to us. I don't like to complain, and am normally okay with a small mess up, but this is clearly 100% their fault as their specialist even said that it was a mess up in color at their end, and they wouldn't even reduce the price on any of their paint for us. I cannot say that I would recommend them again as it seems that they don't really stand behind their product.

I am very disappointed
I am very disappointed. Seven years ago, we began buying ECOS. Organic, ingredients were all safe, for my chemical allergies and autoimmune disease. Just now, we bought 4 more gallons to begin repainting whole house.
We, painted one room. The odor was horrid now. First batch up until two years ago, had no odor at all.
Within 24-48 hours full blown autoimmune flare. This lasted all week. Sick and out of work. Looking up the current ingredients, I was floored. Read each and every chemical on the declare sheet. It's very different now. The paint can also does not read "organic" anymore. All words same except "organic".
I, can not believe this. From just two years ago, it totally changed. I, can never buy this paint again. I have 3 gallons un opened left. But, that matters not. The ill effects, can not be recovered. Please be aware

I ordered a qt of varnish for a floor
I ordered a qt of varnish for a floor. In the application it says 3 coats is recommended however when using the calculator it only recommends the one. It wasn't clear to me what I should order so I chatted with an online specialist who also assured me I just needed the 1qt for my 120 sq ft area. It took nearly a week to get (expected with UPS shipping at $13 would be a little faster). One coat was not enough nor was the 1qt hardly enough to even do one coat. When I talked to the owner he said the website is clear and the calculator is clear and that he didn't believe I talked to a specialist and basically just started yelling at me until I finally hung up. I simply wanted to buy a gallon but get compensated for the qt I already bought as I would have bought that initially if I had been informed correctly by the specialist. Customer service is horrible and owner should keep their cool if they want repeat customers. As far as the product, it goes on thick like a paint would and it doesn't smooth out like normal polyurethane regardless of a good brush or roller. Only plus is that it dries fast and doesn't smell. Will keep looking for a better low VOC/no VOC product and a owner that doesn't start yelling at their customers.

I purchase $1,700 worth of a paint and …
I purchased $1,700 worth of a paint and primer for a basement remodel and the long and short was the primer product, and paint to some degree as well was not work-able. It would compare the primer to a mud, and the paint to paste, even diluted down to a 1:1 still could not be applied to the wall, at least not in a thin enough liquid form. I called a sales rep and was told others have had similar complaints, but there is unfortunately nothing at the moment we can do, other to suggest adding more water. Needless to say that only complicated the problem. When I abandoned the Ecos products all together and requested even a partial refund I received the typical corp. treatment that our refund policy is very clear...translates to we can sell faulty product and we don`t have to stand behind them. Anyone with chemical sensitivities believing their products are the answer I`d second guess it, given the troubles I personally at least had with the application itself of their products.

Will never use anything else.
I love this paint. I am very sensitive to scents and odors. Everything gives me a headache. My painter thought we would have to sand old paint off our base molding but I didn't and tried this. It covered the previous paint and I went back later to scratch it and the paint stayed. No sign of a scratch. Will always use them if I can.
