Unprofessional? Or scammers?
I got a message that my payment didn’t go through and I had to call during business hours EST. I received another email in the morning and called as soon as I woke up. At first they said I didn’t respond to their many emails and they canceled my flight. I told them I only received 2 emails and got back to them within 18 hours of the 1st email. Then they put me on hold for over 20 minutes. I called back and got the same person. He told me the cost of the trip had raised $150. When I pointed out the email said it was on hold he said just the booking, not the tickets. Then he started elaborating on exactly what the difference in price was. I told him I knew how to do math and didn’t need a long explanation. His reply was “Oh my God!” Then he kept asking for my Bling address. Finally figured out he wanted my billing address. He said the zip code was put in wrong. I told him to go ahead and charge the new trip at the increased price because I was tired of searching. As soon as I hung up, I just had a bad feeling, so I called them back and asked to cancel it. The guy told me they would charge a $300 cancellation fee!!! When I asked about the 24 hour cancellation window for flights I was told that is just for airlines, not booking companies! I hung up and called my bank. I had to completely cancel my credit card, but at least these guys didn’t get one cent of my money!
