Absolutely a place one should not even try. I wanted to try this service for a week when i was in a different city. They put a recurring payment which deducted amount a day early. When asked they have the same go-to answer - "we have a pause/cancel button or we can skip the service for a week and such" I raised tickets with them, but better to never you this meal service!!!

Horrible. The food is garbage. All simple carbs. Pasta, rice. Almost nothing else. They sent me the wrong items and shorted me a few meals. Just the worst.

They are complete scammers and thieves. They say you can cancel when ever you want yet there is no way to do it on the site. They charge a day early. They have promised me that a representative would call me to issue my refund and it still hasn’t happened.

I used this service for many months, and it rarely worked well. After the last delivery was 2 days late, and opened/taped up box with warm food, I cancelled. However, the warm food package has NEVER been refunded to the date of writing this review. (You'll get a run around for days and they'll drag it out...) I'm working with my Bank, the BBB and my next is to file a complaint with the attorney general of my state especially after reading these other reviews on billing/refunds. Pros: Sodium levels are low. Portions are good. Cons: -- No communication on delivery dates or delays. -- Horrible customer service (they are outside half the time) -- Good Luck Getting a refund on anything! -- Inconsistent delivery days. -- The allergy section never works and you'll get food with your allergies. Or they always show up in your food selection menu.(You always have to change your options.) -- There is no real change in menu items/food choices -- It seems if they run out of your requested meals, you'll get whatever they have left.

This company is a scam and refuses to refund the amount they charged me for monthly subscription. I never received product and have tried to cancel my order numerous times. Terrible customer service/support. BBB is next stop to get my refund.

They charged me twice for deliveries I had requested be skipped (within the time frame to cancel). Instead, they delivered both boxes while I was out of town, each time. They have refused to give me a refund, explaining that they withdraw the funds from my bank BEFORE the cancellation time period is up! This is TERRIBLE business practice! No wonder they are not BBB acredited.

This service is not something I would recommend. Use other services. Here is the scam. You go to eat clean and have to create an account to view their menu. During this process they get you payment info. I found nothing that I wanted on their menu so I cancelled less than 15 min after review. Suddenly I get an email saying my order would be delivered in 3 days however I didn't order anything. I then received a text the next day asking why I cancelled I told them and asked why they had an 81.00 hold on my bank account. I was then assured it wouldn’t be charged….well it was. That was on April 24th I have called multiple times constantly being told it will be refunded, I ask for a confirmation email stating that and of course they say yes they will send it out. To date May 11th I still have not received my refund nor the email. This company is bogus and swindle people out of their money if they do not keep a membership. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

EatClean is a scam food delivery service! They charged my card without authorization even after I canceled within the specified window. Their website has no place for you to cancel when you can allegedly change your meals until the deadline. I am also pescatarian and they sent 3 meals with beef and pork. I have ordered from many other food delivery services and this is the absolute worst. I attempted to contact them via text, email and phone, and am still waiting for a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! UPDATE: 5/6/2024 - STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT. WILL BE REPORTING TO BBB, ATTY GEN AND FILING COMPLAINTS...
