The worst customer service!
I received a copy of Project Hail Mary as a gift. Apparently when it was ordered the person didn't enter a separate billing address, so the card was declined. Easton Press sent the book anyway and then started sending me bills. I didn't want to embarrass the gifter, so I decided to just pay for it myself. When I called to explain the situation, the 'customer support representative' was so rude that I ended up hanging up without paying. Fast forward several months, after calming down about the way I was treated (and receiving more past due notices) I called back with the intention of paying. After getting the same treatment from the representative, I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was even ruder, continuing to argue even as I was trying to give her my card number! The bottom line is that I paid for the book that I didn't order but I will never order anything from this company. They do not know how to treat customers! ** Just a side note: According to the US PostOffice, a person has no obligation to pay for or return anything that was received in the mail that they did not order! **
