I live in a beautiful Apartment but thought I have to move out, it is sometimes noisy from fans, traffic etc., since i bought this earplugs I sleep 7-8 hours what a pleasure, used to wake up at 2 or 3 am almost every day. Not anymore, thanks to Mighty Earplugs. Elisabeth

This is like an earplug candy store. I love the varied selection and the explanation of the levels of noise reduction for each product. I found everything I needed and bought more than I expected. Three them away. The fit was not good at all, much too small. Rather the sound came through as the plug was small and my ear canals are not large. Other earplugs fit fine

Dear Lauren: Please do not "three" them or throw them away. They are the highest blocking ear plug in the world and you will be grateful that I answered your review and explained how to insert them. Ironically almost all women feel that the ear plug is (too large) and they pinch off about 1/3rd and insert a smaller size that fits their ear canal better. You, finding it too small is a first for us. Lauren, please follow the instructions below and you will be quite surprised at how efficient this ear plug is: 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push a bit (FIRMLY) & FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) IMPORTANT: If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or more likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Dear Christa: Far from simple as they are made from Beeswax and they form to each person's ear canal to seal it. When inserted correctly, this is the HIGHEST BLOCKING (most sound suppressing) ear plug in existence; but to experience the superior performance, you must follow (exactly), the preparation and insertion directions below, and you will then see why all the testimonials on our website page are true and accurate. Please give this fine ear plug a fair test. Please Note! Many women with smaller ear canals pinch off at least (a third), and insert a smaller ear plug that fits their ear canal better, is more comfortable, seals easier and blocks out better. This can make a big difference, yet you only make it smaller if it is too large and uncomfortable. 1. These may work fairly well.but I would never buy them again.they come in a tiny little box that you can never get them back into.they are made of some type of Clay like substance .They are way too expensive for what they are I would never recommend them or buy them again . It gets stuck in your hair and they are very difficult to deal with.

Dear Susan: The reason that your hair is involved is because you haven't pushed and flattened the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal firmly enough and it is protruding out ward too much. I purchased a set of the earplugs and tried them immediately. Although they were soft, pliable and easy to insert they did not suppress the noise enough for a quiet sleep while my wife looked at TV. I shaped it to be inserted as deep as possible but background noise was still audible. I must admit I was disappointed to say the least.
