Dear Catherine: Oh yes, we know how great it is at blocking our sound, but what is also so special about our ear plug is that one can simply pinch off some material from the ear plug and insert a smaller size. Dear Penny: The residue is Pure Lanolin. Wonderfully nurturing for the skin. Just knead the ear plugs a bit longer before inserting them and you will disburse the Lanolin throughout the ear plug and they will not leave any residue at all. Kindest regards Mary-customer service

Dear Mike: If you don't insert our (soft & moldable) Beeswax ear plug correctly to where it seals your ear canals, then you will get the SAME DISMAL RESULTS that Foam ear plugs give you. Mike, please read the instruction card that came with your order and please follow these insertion instructions below. You'll be pleasantly shocked at how well our superior ear plug blocks out and you'll then see why so many customers rate our ear plug so effectively. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. When the ear plug is soft and mouldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will seal well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or most likely no sound at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Mike, we'll be with you (all the way) until you get them to work perfectly. Please feel free to phone our office and we will be happy to (walk you through inserting them over the phone). You'll see that each pair of our Mighty Plugs can be worn from 30-40 times and more.
