Dear Joanne: Why didn't they work well for you???????????? WE KNOW WHY!!!!! Joanne, the ear plug is TOOOOOOOOOO LARGE for your ear. Pinch off about 1/3rd and insert just 2/3rds of the ear plug. It will stay sealed and feel more comfortable!!. Joanne, all of us gals in the office have been wearing the exact same ear plug (nightly) for over 12 years, and in the beginning, a couple of us had a bit of difficulty with keeping the ear plug sealed, then (we figured out) that the ear plug was too big. We reduced the size and "Bingo", it worked great ever since!! When you get the right size, you'll get 30-40 wearings from each pair and they'll surely block out his snoring. That amount of usage is super value; especially if it does the job. Please write us again after you have inserted a smaller ear plug. You'll be most pleasantly surprised. Dear Rose: It's not pushing it in "far" that is important. It is Pushing and Flattening the ear plug IN and AGAINST the ear opening until you feel the ear plugs SEAL the ear canals. Rose , please follow the instruction below (exactly)! 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and mouldable and ready to insert, it doesn’t matter what shape it is; round, flat , long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit FIRMLY, & FLATTEN it, (IN and AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!!!). Note: If it doesn’t seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen; you’ll hear very little or most likely NO SNORING SOUND at all. It even gets better each time you wear them. Dear Elle: "Malleable", yes indeed; but not clay! Our superior ultra-high blocking ear plugs are made mainly from natural Beeswax. Elle, yes, they do a great job "at blocking out sound" and yes they are slightly tacky from Pure Lanolin; for an ear plug needs to be tacky to stay securely in the ear canal and Block Out, plus Lanolin is nurturing for human skin. Regarding your hair: Elle, just move your hair out of the way when removing the ear plug. All of us in the office have long hair and we wear this magnificent ear plug every night successfullly! We don't wear them in our office for we constantly need to hear each other. Regarding your wearing them in an office atmosphere: Elle, push them in less firmly and allow them to block out, yet still let you hear conversations in the office when needed. Elle, you might find our ear plug better used for blocking out sound like snoring, fireworks, thunder, barking dogs, loud music ect ect. Most sincerely Mary-customer service

Dear Harry: Your are feeling Pure Lanolin. Our ultra-high blocking ear plugs are made mainly from Beeswax. They are maleable, but (JUST PRIOR TO INSERTION) you must soften them between your fingers or hands for 15 seconds to make the ear plugs (soft and moldable); but more importantly, it disburses the pure Lanolin throughout the ear plugs. Our ear plug needs to be a bit tacky to stay securely in the ear canal and block out (all the sound). The reason our customers write so many great reviews about this ear plug is: IT WORKS !!! Harry, if an ear plug cannot stay securely in the ear canal and block out sound or seal out water, then what good is it??????????????????? Most sincerely Mary-customer service
