I have been using these ear plugs on a regular basis for about 15 years. I had tried an assortment of other brands but none of them came anywhere close to providing the same kind of noise protection that allows me to get a good night's sleep. The company's customer service has always been excellent too. The only drawback for me has been that each time I use a new pair (about every 6 weeks) they do irritate the skin in my ear causing it to flake and peel. Keeping the plugs clean and using some hydrocortisone cream usually solves the problem. It typically lasts about ten days until the plugs get worn in.

Saved me my sanity
Ever since I've graduated residency and started working in the ER, I've become a light sleeper. And working in the ER means switching your sleep cycle perpetually. Benadryl + these ear plugs = the world is dead to me. Cant hear the stupid train when it is passing through town at 3 in the morning, or the neighbors dog barking at noon. Thank you for giving me the chance to have much needed quiet sleep.

They will block out ALL the sound, but be sure to push them in a bit more firmly so that they SEAL the ear canal completely.

I've tried them several times, watched the youtube videos on how to insert and remove. I've followed all instructions. Just doesn't work for me. Quies work better for me. The search continues...

They are JUST THE OPPOSITE of what you think!!
Our magnificent Beeswax (soft and moldable) ear plugs will BLOCK OUT much more sound than any other ear plugs, but you have to insert them so that they SEAL the ears totally!!!
Please READ the instructions that came with your order and please follow exactly the instructions below for preparing and inserting this ultra-high blocking ear plug.
1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step.
2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well.
3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way& insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a HUGE improvement.
4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out.
