Dear Sandra: You would be correct if you (do not) allow our ear plugs to SEAL your EARS. So now, let's insert them (correctly), let them seal your ear canals and you'll be pleasantly SHOCKED!!! They'll block out his snoring. You'll see!!! Sandra, please READ the instruction card that came with your order and please follow exactly the instructions below for preparing and inserting this ultra-high blocking ear plug. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it soft, moldable and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Pure Lanolin makes the ear plug slightly “tacky” so that it stays securely in the ear canal and SEALS it. When the ear plug is soft and moldable and ready to insert, it doesn't matter what shape it is; round, flat, long or narrow; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push FIRMLY& FLATTEN the ear plug IN and AGAINST your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL!) If it doesn't seal immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds and it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & sealing the ear canals, you’ll notice a HUGE improvement. 4. To Remove: Simply pinch the ear plug with your thumb & index finger and gently pull downward and out. Sandra, your success is IMPORTANT TO US. Dear Shawn: Our Ultra-High Blocking ear plug is made from BEESWAX! Our ear plugs, must be (worked or kneaded) between one's fingers or hands for at least 15 seconds, just (prior to insertion), to make the ear plugs SOFT AND MOLDABLE. When they are soft and moldable, they are especially easy to insert, as they (form to) and fill your ear canal. You will then feel them SEAL the ear, and when that happens, it's SILENCE in that ear. Shawn, regarding COMFORT!!! It is obvious that our ear plug is TOO LARGE for your ear canal. Simply pinch off a little and insert a smaller ear plug. You'll find that it will feel much more comfortable in your ear.
