Dear Mark: THIS IS AN EASY FIX!!! Mark here's how to block out ALL of your partner's snoring: 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it (soft, malleable) and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug.When the ear plug is soft, malleable and ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit (( MORE )) FIRMLY; & FLATTEN it against your opening and into your ear canal until you feel a (( GOOD SEAL )). Dear Mike: NO, Mighty Plugs ARE SURELY NOT the "normal" ear plugs! They are ULTRA-HIGH blocking ear plugs made from Purest Beeswax. Regarding "pressure";. simply insert the ear plugs to Seal your ear canal with your mouth open. Possibly that will release any pressure you feel. Regarding "ear aches"; we can't relate to that, since no one including ourselves, ever experiences any ache from wearing our soft and malleable ear plugs. Dear Danielle: You ordered from us ONE pair, and (( if )) your experience is legitimate, then we are saddened by it. Danielle, our ear plug CANNOT reach the eardrum on its own. It had to have been pushed there (( carelessly )). Over 6 million people worldwide (( successfully and safely )), wear Mighty Plugs each day, without pushing the ear plug to their eardrum or near their brain. Our ear plug is SAFE when used responsibly, just as drinking HOT COFFEE is safe when drank responsibly and the same goes for driving a vehicle. If one spils HOT COFFEE on themselve or runs their vehicle off the road; its not the coffee that was at fault or the car that was at fault. Dear Joseph: To block out snoring, our ear plug has to SEAL the ear canal when inserted. Once SEALED, it will block out 95% to 100% of the snoring Your residue report is very similar to another customer that received product from the ((same batch)) as you. Even though we have not received any other reports from the 5,000 other customers receiving ear plugs from the same batch as you both, it sounds like the ear plugs you received had slightly more Lanolin in them; and we are going to replace that pack for you (at no charge). The residue if any, would have to be Pure Lanolin and it surely will not harm you.
