Dear James: THANK YOU for the 5 STAR rating of our product; but Shipping from the US to (( Ireland )) can be slow at times, using FREE SHIPPING & second class postal service. Your order appears to have been delayed in the UK customs upon entering the UK. It is rare to take that long, when it's usually less than 1/2 that time. Dear Therese: ON THE CONTRARY!!!! Mighty Plugs are the FINEST SNORE BLOCKING Ear Plugs IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!! 99.99999% of ALL reviewers LOVE Mighty Plugs because they WORK!!!!!!! BUT>>>>>One has to KNOW how to INSERT THEM!!! Please follow the below instructions exactly! IMPORTANT: IF you insert them a (bit more) firmly, deeper ((into)) your ear canal and allow them to SEAL, you will notice a significant decrease in the outside sound. 1. Just as you are about to insert, take ONE ear plug and {work it or knead it} thoroughly between your fingers or hands for at least 20 seconds to make it (soft, malleable) and slightly “tacky”. When the ear plug is soft and malleable, then it’s ready to insert; just follow the next step. 2. Using the tip of your index finger, push the ear plug a bit ((more)) FIRMLY then before & FLATTEN it (IN, AGAINST) and into your ear canal (until you feel a GOOD SEAL). IMPORTANT: If it doesn’t SEAL immediately, then hold your finger pressed against the ear plug (with slight pressure) for a few more seconds, until it will SEAL well. 3. Now take the other ear plug, prepare it the same way & insert it into the other ear. With both ear plugs inserted correctly & SEALING the ear canals; now listen: you’ll hear very little sound, often no sound at all; and (it even gets better) each day or night afterwards.
