Invisible and They Work
Both my wife and I use the Eargo hearing aid. We both like the fact it is invisible as it fits inside the ear, with nothing around the outside of the ear. We wear glasses and the Eargo do not interfere with the comfort around the ears, and especially so when we wear a mask. Another significant value is that we can now hear the conversation in a noisy restaurant and can sit further back in a theatre without sacrificing intelligibility. Buying a hearing aid over the internet gave us pause at first, but we have found Eargo provides expert support via telephone for personal service, and a whole range of videos for use at any time. Don't be surprised if it takes about a week to ten days to get used to a hearing aid. All of a sudden things seem too loud and common noises intrusive. You may have a bit of difficulty the first week putting them in and taking them out, but that goes away quickly. I have Parkinsons and even my shaky fingers have no trouble inserting and removing them. They are easy to clean and the app can remind you when to change the inserts. In summary, we are extremely happy with these things.
