EargoReviews of eargo.com

I love my Eargo Neo HiFi hearing aids. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. The customer support from the Eargo Company is superb.

I am enjoying my Eargo 6. Still adjusting but seems to be going well. The in canal technology is really great along with the app for access to meet my needs. Please make note that Jolene as my beginning contact was really great. Also, Patrick was very helpful. Thank You

Eargo Hearing Aids - Even though I did a lot of research before buying Eargos, I am amazed and pleasantly surprised. I looked for four things: unnoticeable, rechargeable batteries, smartphone control and good sound. Eargo has all four plus fantastic support people, how-to videos and written material. Here’s more: Unless I tell them, no one can see my Eargos. I regularly get 12 to 14 hours of uninterrupted use on a single overnight charge with almost 25% charge remaining. I am hearing sounds that I haven’t heard for many years. Now, without Eargos, everything sounds muffled. Excellent hearing aids.

My 3 year experience with Eargo rates an A+. I love the product quality as much as I love the size of the device. It’s almost a no-brainer to use and cleaning is easy. The sound is very good and the easy setting taps help me set the level I need wherever I am. The service is exceptional, the people are friendly and easy to work with. I never have to wait long to speak with someone, which is one of the best things about this fine company. They take my happiness seriously.

I have been very pleasantly surprised by the comfort, performance and support I've had during my first month with the Eargo 6. While I have never worn hearing aids before, I am sufficiently vain enough to know that I only really wanted to wear a device that was virtually invisible. When I received them, I initially informed only a few of those closest to me that I was wearing them. Needing to wear a hearing aid doesn't bother me any more than wearing glasses/contact lenses and I've been doing that for over 50 years, but I wanted to get a sense of the "before and after" without any confirmation bias affecting my opinion. Customer service has been extremely helpful both during the initial purchase as well as during a follow-up with a hearing specialist who was able to fine-tune my initial setup along with advising me which petals would work best with my situation. Most of my problems occur in crowded/noisy situations (bowling alley, restaurants) and I really like the ability to tailor the Eargo to allow me to hear conversations that were problematic. One particular friend of mine (Dan) has a voice which is mostly lower frequencies to begin with, so hearing him while bowling was a recurring problem. I'm happy to say that I can hear Dan much more clearly this year. When I confided in him that I was now wearing the Eargo, he asked me to share that info with two similarly-aged teammates who also have trouble hearing him! Most of the adjustment has been reconditioning my ears to the new frequencies that I haven't been hearing in years. Certain frequencies still cause some metallic "ringing" and I'm not sure if that's an adjustment that I'm still growing accustomed to or one that might need a tweak or two. Suffice to say, I'm very happy with the Eargo 6.

If I recall correctly, I first saw advertising for the Eargo product in early 2018. Realizing that I had some hearing impairment (then at the age of 68),the thought of hearing better was very appealing to me. In addition to being able to attain improved hearing, the design of the product being such that it fit inside the ear canal with no external visibility was extremely appealing since I am somewhat vain and had associated hearing devices with those external "boxes" hanging around the external ear with "old gray-haired people". In addition, there were no batteries and the devices were rechargeable. With a 45-day return policy, what could go wrong? I decided to give the product a try. At that time it was the Eargo Max. After using the devices for just a few days I was very impressed with my hearing improvement and the customer service was excellent. The people I spoke to at Eargo were professional and truly concerned about my satisfaction with the devices. There was no pressure and I was re-assured about the 45-day return policy if not completely satisfied. Earlier this year when I received an email about the new Eargo 6 (with a $400-off offer), I was not sure if I was ready to invest in the new product. My left-side Eargo Max had previously been replaced and now needed to be replaced once again. So what was I to do? I seriously considered getting the new devices but the co$t was putting me off. A while later I received another offer from Eargo offering a $600 discount. This offer, I was unable to resist. Upon contacting Eargo, I received that familiar professional and empathic customer service that impressed me back in 2018. Long story short, I am extremely happy with my new Eargos. The fit is better, the recharge is simpler (especially with having neuropathy in my fingers) and the customer service has been consistently excellent. Thanks for letting me express my total satisfaction with a true life-improvement strategy called Eargo.

The Eargo 6 devices are an incredible technological achievement. Their scientists and engineers have somehow managed to fit a complete digital sound processing system with active noise canceling, spectrum conditioning and the wireless charging circuitry (with high-capacity batteries to power it all) into a package the size of a pencil eraser that fits completely inside my ear! And they’re absolutely comfortable. I’d forget I’m wearing them except being able to hear everyone and everything keeps reminding me. The audiologists and customer support people at Eargo have been completely accessible and are intimately familiar with their system and the science of hearing. They are a perfect complement to the excellent devices.

The Eargo product makes it easy to adjust to hearing aids and is so compact that the stigma associated with hearing aids is a non-factor. The tiny ear insertions come up big in returning hearing loss to a most natural and effective state. The Eargo organization has developed incredible videos to assist in customizing hearing clarity based on the individual’s specific needs. The four adjustments with just the tap on the side of the ear equalize noise to make hearing sharper in several different environments. From a phone app to reminders of scheduled maintenance to live customer service, Eargo is the complete hearing service delivering a quality product with excellent customer care. These are just a few advantages of going with Eargo. I had tried other hearing aids and researched other companies. Either the hearing aids were technically obsolete in comparison to Eargo or they were exorbitantly expensive for the product and service received. Eargo is a high-tech customizable product made simple with excellent customer service. Highly recommend Eargo’s ability to restore your muffled hearing into full clarity.
