About 5 years ago, I decided to purchase the earlier version of the Eargo hearing aid. I did so for simple reasons for me. They are small and do not have the bulky appearance of an over-the-ear hearing aid. I was drawn to this solution because they were less expensive than “regular” hearing aids and virtually invisible in the ear. Ease of use, reliability, and price swayed me. Over the following years, these original Eargos began to lose their ability to recharge rendering them unusable. For that reason and the legal changes for hearing aids prompted me to investigate multiple options for replacement. After many searches, I went back to Eargo and compared prices, looks, effectiveness, and whether friendly usable. I found Eargo to have the best option for me as a hearing aid that is inconspicuous in the ear, easy to put in/take out and powerful enough to compensate for my age-related hearing loss. I chose to purchase the Eargo 7 because of those factors as well as being able to make any necessary adjustments with my smart phone. I am happy to enthusiastically recommend the Eargo option and especially the Eargo 7.

I have been wearing hearing aids for 8 years and these are the first ones I like to wear daily. I have the Eargo 6 and they are a true hearing aid with adjustablility that rivals one from an audiologist at 1/2 to 1/3 the cost. Online & phone support saves trips to an office. They are comfortable and versatile to adapt to different environments.

I started using the Eargo 7 devices on May 4, 2023. As of now (1/12/24) I can say that the Eargo 7's have dramatically helped my hearing loss. My left ear was worse than my right, however with the Eargo, Smart Phone app, I was able to program each ear separately. I was also able to adjust volume and tone so I wasn't always getting that annoying feedback and squeal. After 8 months of use, I'm still convinced this was a solid choice for me.

The Eargo 7 is an amazing and virtually invisible hearing aid. I have used this product for over a year and am extremely satisfied. If you are experiencing hearing loss, I would highly recommend it. I've been an Eargo user for over 4 years, and recently updated to Eargo 7. The Neo Eargos were very good, but the 7 is a dramatic improvement in hearing and functionality. It provides options for different environments such as music, restaurants, normal, etc. that actually make a difference. For the first time, I am following conversations in a noisy restaurant setting. Customer service from Eargo is exceptional, and the audiologist consultation valuable. A high quality company in every respect.

The 6's are a definite improvement in sound over the previous versions I've had. Love that they're invisible and don't get in the way of wearing glasses. I'd definitely recommend them.

I have used hearing aids for 15 years now. I went through the expensive 'name brand' aids, then the cheap on-line 'behind the ear' aids and finally found Eargo. These are intermediate in price and were the first 'in the ear canal' aids I tried. I have used Eargos for about 6 years now and find them to be much better than the 'behind the ear' aids. I find the Eargos last 2 - 3 years, which is the life of the internal battery. I am now using Eargo 7s which are the best yet. I find them easy to use and maintain, and they give excellent sound quality. Customer service has always been great and they assist you in adjusting the aids to give optimum performance. I would strongly recommend Eargos to anyone with hearing problems.
