Dutch is breaking the law
Dutch is breaking the law in many states. They do not provide a written prescription to the client upon request, which is required by law in many states. I also asked for it to be called in to Chewy. They said they don't work with Chewy. I asked for it to be called in to my local PetSmart's pharmacy. They said they couldn't. When trying to use the messaging feature, I'd have to wait days to hear back each time. Customer service was not helpful. They are very often not open even within the listed hours. It has taken a month to get my dog's prescription for his food (Chewy does not carry this in their pharmacy). I still do not have it and am now running low on food, and I will have to go in to a normal vet for it, taking away the main reason for using Dutch. Edit in response to reply: While Dutch does call a prescription in if you ask (not without difficulty and delay in my experience), they do not supply a written prescription upon request as is required by law in many states. Dutch support specifically told me they do not and their system does not support providing a written prescription, which is breaking the law

Hello - we are so sorry for the frustration transferring your prescription. We certainly do offer this service and sometimes other companies such as Chewy and PetSmart do push back on this process. We will be reaching out to you to resolve this as we transfer to pharmacies regularly and understand how important that is for some of our customers!
