The process was extremely easy. The doctor was amazing. Very knowledgeable and caring. The cost is very reasonable. All around great experience. Will only use this service for my 4 fur babies from here on out!

I received order of cans of Purina Pro Plan that made my dog sick and when I reached out to the Dutch team they didn’t care. I’m very disappointed in Dutch as I always speak so highly of them and can’t believe my experience now

Company Puts Profit above animal suffering - Example included
I had to delete part of the end of my review to submit an update. The one star review is confirmed I spoke with them several times and they did nothing to change. As a state (California) I have been organizing as many people as possible to ban them from providing veterinary care. They do not care about animals. Update to review Dutch.com stands by their practices of delaying necessary medication and not providing timely prescriptions. They refunded me the membership fee and I reported them to the Department of Agriculture in California to investigate them for animal cruelty. Their response to me was not kind, remorseful, helpful and was just a bunch of "fine print" about their processes. There was no explanation as to way making an animal wait for necessary medication is needed. If I were you and you were using them and need meds right away, book another appointment with a doctor and tell him or her the purpose of this visit is for you to hang up the phone and call my prescription into Costco have the number ready and remind them that they took an oath and if they do not comply they will be reported to the Board of Veterinary Medicine for animal cruelty. And they will listen because every state has a Board and none of them allow for them to prioritize profits for Dutch.com over the importance of timely care. Review: Recently California (1/1/24) revised the law and allows Telehealth for animals including prescribing medications. This is excellent news. We care for our animals like family, there is a shortage of Vets in certain parts of the state more than others - this is progress. However, it is one step forward one giant step backwards with Dutch. On the eve of July 3rd I was told by my doggy day care that my puppy had "puppy warts" or pappalivirus and he was quarantined and cannot return until he comes back. My vet, an animal "hospital" though closed early for the day and was closed for the holiday all the way through the hospital. As an aside, no hospital should be called such that closes for 4 days. I thought, I have options and used Dutch. I was prepared of course for it to be harder than it looks as one cannot just sign up for a one time visit one must become a member. Fine. I paid the membership fee and booked a visit for 910 am on the 4th. For some reason they tell you to plan for 30 minutes. You get 10 minutes if you're lucky. The vet joined 2 minutes late and ended 2 minutes early, was not friendly, engaging, empathetic or even interested. Instead I got a prescription for anti-inflammatory which I told her in the call I needed transferred to Costco. She said nothing in response. Costco was closed the 4th so I sent several messages through the chat system with the phone number of the Costco and planned to pick up on the 5th. When I go to check on the status I don't even see my message recorded. I call the phone number. No one answers. I leave more messages nothing. I notice a box on the website that says order your medications which I was ignoring because in the United States of America prescriptions do not have to be filled by a specific pharmacy, although often one does for insurance benefits but prescriptions transfer. Ask anyone who has had their eyes examined. Optometrists everywhere fought this one hard but there is a very good reason your eye doctor is not an employee of your eye glass store. They still have their tactics but prescriptions are required to be given without a request for transfer before one even asks. This is not the case at Dutch.com. No, there is a separate form one must complete, an additional $5 fee and 2-4 day processing time. How ridiculous. This is pain medication. I am not ordering from an online pharmacy and waiting for shipping for pain medicine. This is the most perfect example of a company that puts profits before animals. Prescriptions should be called in to any pharmacy requested for same day fill if possible without a fee. Not doing so undermines the entire CA law which is intended to expand access to care and not delay suffering. My complaint is that the fee was not disclosed clearly enough and the delay was not mentioned and it is just a bad faith practice that is evidence that this company does not have the best interest of animals as their mission and by doing so will not thrive.

Still waiting for the transfer of my…
Still waiting for the transfer of my medication. I processed it twice online. I finally saw the charge to my card for the five dollar transfer fee but I’m still waiting for the medication and I’m frustrated because my animal is not well.

Unreliable veterans!!!!!
This week I went to see my vet and left a message to see if they could help my fur baby with medication for her horrible inflamed skin and hot spots, she was so miserable and I felt horrible. Needless to say 4- days later haven’t heard back!!!
The very day I went to the vet for some medication for my fu baby I found Dutch.com.that Sam night I was seen by a veterinarian on zoom and she helped me with getting my fur baby the medication she needs at a quarter of the price I would have to pay the vet and also could use after pay which allows payment and I’m paid for the whole year at the cost of 1 vet bill. Medication takes a couple days but that’s a relief knowing it’s on the way. Very happy with this service, so far!!!!!

I love this company
I love this company! My bengal cat brought a ringworm home and I knew it was a ringworm the moment I saw it. When I called the vet they said that they cannot tell if that’s a ringworm from just looking at it, so they would have to test all sort of things which would cost me $900 plus more for the consultation plus more for the sedation since she can bite ..
I made an account on Dutch , paid $100 for a year of free consultations whenever my cat needs it , and they consulted my cat same day through zoom video call, wrote a prescription for free, I just paid for the medicine with price matching, and it was delivered within 2 days at my door.
Love 🧡 and thank you!

I signed up for the $92 annual service…
I signed up for the $92 annual service and attempted to initiate a visit. Twice now I've received a message that there is no vet available at this time. I strongly suspect that this service might be utilizing local vets in the area for this service. That means that the service will be just as bad as any other attempt at services. In our area, we have a major shortage of vets and getting an appointment for any reason within a month is next to impossible. It forces everything into emergency services at a VERY large fee. Since I attempted my visit requests during business hours, I believe that is why I got the message that no one is available. I couldn't even schedule a visit for later in the day when someone is available. I can't say that my experience has been nice at all. So I canceled the service renewal almost as fast as I got the message that no one is available. Just $92 down the drain.
UPDATE: The message you see for me to contact them is just for show. I gave them my phone number, but no one ever called. Further reinforces just how much of a rip off this company is. Even the email I got about scheduling an initial visit was filled with dead links to no where. They look like link buttons, but they don't activate anything. They don't care that I lost $92 for a whole lot of nothing.
