Your order came in at 3 p.m. on July 2nd for next-day delivery—right before the July 4th holiday, which is one of the busiest times of the year in our industry. After the order was placed and confirmed, we let you know later that same day that 40-yard dumpsters were fully booked. We offered either a full refund or a 30-yard dumpster delivered on time. You chose to move forward with the 30-yard, and we added a credit to your account for the price difference. That credit helped cover a small overage at the end of your rental, and we waived the remaining balance as a courtesy. Regarding the placement and pickup: we always aim to follow customer instructions as closely as possible, and I’m sorry if the drop location caused any issues. Your pickup was completed within our standard 1–4 business day window, even during a peak holiday week. We’re reviewing this internally to see where we can tighten up our processes and communication going forward. Regarding the overweight charge: we only apply those fees if the disposal facility provides a certified weight ticket showing the dumpster exceeded the included tonnage.
