If I were you, I would not trust this company. I just called because I bought extended warranty and I canceled it within the first 30 days and they told me it could take six months before I get a refund because they can do what they want to do with my money and they can pay me when they want to pay me and they can offer me another plan if I want, but basically they can refund me when they want to. do not trust these people. I am so tired of businesses getting away with scamming consumers. I’m freaking sick and tired of it.

Misrepresentation
Hi company, I just joined this company and had questions about my policy booklet why they both didn’t come at the same time and I talked to the customer representative and she got smart with me and she said I don’t know I don’t work for the post office but what very rude thing to say, but I was being polite and I talked to another lady who told me she would have a supervisor call me and have an apology for me and never did so. She lied to me, then the next day I called again and talked to another customer service representative and he asked me what the problem was. I told him politely it was none of his business because I didn’t want to go through this again and explain what was wrong and he just hung up on me. What kind of business does this? They do this to another lady and she was going, another guy representative call me never what kind of business is this? You tell me if you can trust this, but I don’t and I wanna cancel my policy, but they won’t get me in touch with someone who will do it so I just cancel out my credit cards payment to solve the issue that way , publish seriously

I bought the policy with Drivesmart on March 13th and decided that I didn't want.it. I CONTACTED Shawn Bernnitt and tols.him I wanted to cancalle.the.polocy. I had only had the.policy a couple.days . I HAVE CALLED, wrote a.letter to Drivesmart asking.for.my money . Not.going.to go in detail.about how I was treated by hime since I have told.them.several.times. I know a customer has the right to ask for a refund in 30.days which I did way before this, thus is poor customer service. I called the Attonery General because I was getting no where or calls back. All I ask for was my thousand dollars back., I shouldn't have to tell.them reason I cancelled. My test step if I dont get my money back is to.contact a.laywer ,just want this resolved and my money back.

I would give DriveSmart ZERO Stars if I could.
I recieved a cold call offering me a vehicle warranty.
I was told I have 30 days to cancel the policy with no cost to me. I cancelled 4 days later after having received a contract -- which I had to call Customer Service for -- there was no contract included in the information/welcome packet I received. In addition the coverage that was offered in the contract was different than the coverage offered to me on the sales call.
When I called to cancel, I was told -- "no problem, you will receive your refund with-in 10 business days."
When I did receive refund to my credit card it was piece-meal -- not the total amount. $600 dollars one day, $1200 dollars one day and $700 another day.
So far, I have received $2500 of the $4066 that was initally charged. I called this morning and was told I will receive the remaining $1566 piece-meal as well. This is NOT what was promised. I was promised FULL refund in 10 business days.

This insurance is spam
This insurance is spam. I have been calling them to cancel my policy before it’s activated on 03/17 and every time I’m calling the customer service keep me in hold for hours and then hung up on me . Every time . I spoke to a supervisor/manager . To explain to them I’m cancelling my policy. Cancel my policy. I’m not paying for it . You are wasting my time . You are a spam shame on you . Don’t force me to accept your policy I don’t want it . Cancel my policy

VERY DISSATISFIED!! LIES ABOUND!!
DriveSmart, in my experience, utilized a lot of deceptive practices in their sales pitch, and just throughout my experience in dealing with them. I was contacted by a sales agent name Brian (agent# BT08) on 02/23/2024.
He, and a few other Sales Managers (Shawn Bennett, and Lucy Miller-who claimed to be married to Shawn, and whose name shows on the policy I received as Lucy Schmitt) outright slandered CarShield's (who I currently have my extended warranty through) name, citing a lawsuit that, while factual, does not represent the company on a whole or my experience with them. Lucy Miller (Sales Manager) stated that Ice-T was suing CarShield as he had attached his name to the company, then learned of the lawsuit. I investigated this and found this statement to be an untruth as well.
I had initially decided to give DriveSmart a try, but after having done the research over that weekend, I decided to cancel and keep CarShield.
I called in on Tuesday, 02/27 and spoke with a man named Brad to cancel the policy. The process was pretty straight-forward, and was completed within the hour of my call. I called back in on Monday, 03/04, as I had not received my deposit back, and was told by a man named Glen that I could expect my refund by Wednesday, 03/06, citing that the policy was just cancelled on 02/28, a day AFTER I completed the cancellation process. After having still not received my refund, I called in on Thursday, 03/07, and was told that the issue had been forwarded to the accounting department for expedition. I called back in on Friday, 03/08, having STILL not received my refund, and spoke with a man named George, who stated that the person working in the accounting department was away from her desk. I again was told that I had just cancelled my policy on 02/28/2024, and that he had told me when I initially called in with this issue that it could take 7-9 business days to issue the refund. The point here is that I spoke with Brad and Glen (respectfully) initially. I hadn't spoken to a George, which further supports my claim of their deceptive practices. It seems THEY don't even know who they are. Aside from the the lies and unprofessionalism I've dealt with in dealing with this company, I STILL haven't received my refund.
As far as the product, after having compared it what I have with CarShield, I found that CarShield's warranty covers more and is generally more comprehensive.
I will say that Brian, Shawn, and Lucy, DID work to get me a very competitive rate (in an attempt to beat the rate I currently pay with CarShield). However, I was not impressed with the fee I would have had to pay if I chose not to use the ACH option (that they also failed to tell me about until I was finalizing my policy, and would have made my payment HIGHER than what I'm paying with CarShield).
My advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!

Not happy with customer service experience.
The sales representative lead me to believe that the maintenance program was for the full life of the warranty. Each time I called to cancel I had very aggressive responses to my questions and concerns. The supervisor who attempted to convince me not to cancel wasted my valued time and once he agreed to cancel ended up hanging up on me when I had additional questions. Such as, do I still need to call the financial company to cancel with them? Or when should I expect my $25 deposit refunded. So now I need to call them again and waste more of my time trying to figure it out myself rather than the customer service department doing their job and assuring me that everything has been taken care of because obviously they didn’t want to waste their precious sales/commission time with their already unsatisfied customer. I am even more certain and happy with my decision now at this point! Why would I want to work with a company that doesn’t value their customers time or concerns?
