Many years ago, I was dealing with a neck problem. I tried several different pillows but nothing helped. While I always liked sleeping "on" rather than "in" a pillow, I decided to try a goose down pillow and started researching them. I found David at Down & Feather Co. and had a long talk with him about pillows. It was very informative and I ordered a firm down pillow from him. It arrived quickly but wasn't firm enough. It was returned, restuffed and sent back to me without charge and turned out fantastic for my neck. A few years later, when my neck recovered, I ordered a few firm feather pillows which turned out great and recently ordered two more. I'm in Hawaii Down and Feather Co doesn't ship to Hawaii anymore. Many companies won't because of the expense. Granted they're not the easiest to contact and the answering service is no help. But David has always accomodated me and I appreciate the great customer service I've always received from him.

I ordered two pillows based on the good experience I had with these pillows in another home. Absolute nightmare trying to buy from them. The attempt to reach someone in person prior to shipping to ask a question was not possible. Then, on the day they were supposed to arrive,FedEx took them to a different home in my community and left a picture of the drop off that obviously was not my home. Again, an attempt to reach customer service was futile. You get an answering service that tells you to go to their webpage. I believe it’s fiction they are this man and his wife making pillows as they tout. I believe they can’t speak English and avoid customers. At this point my only recourse is court.

I’m a strict side sleeper so finding something that doesn't just flatten out overnight is tough. I emailed them before buying and Greg recommended the thickest option for this all-feather pillow. It's definitely heavy. You really sleep on top of it rather than sinking all the way through. First couple of nights I actually felt a tiny feather poke through the cotton casing, but tossing a thicker protector over it fixed that immediately. Gives that dense, supportive hotel feel I was looking for. Waking up with way less neck stiffness.

This pillow is not light or cloud-like, and that is exactly why I kept it. The original Feather Pillow has enough weight to stay against the headboard, while the Hungarian googse feathers can still be flattened or folded under my neck. The blue and white cotton cover feels old-fashioned in a good way. I can hear the feathers move in a very quiet room, and it needs reshaping each morning. After two weeks, those things feel normal

I recently upgraded to the Classic Hotel Feather Pillows after staying at a nice resort. They are incredibly thick and definitely provide that heavy, luxurious hotel feel in your own bed. The support for sleeping on my side is exactly what I was hoping for. The only downside is that they occasionally poke a tiny feather through the casing if I don't use a thick enough protector over them. It's not a dealbreaker, but it did surprise me once. Otherwise, great sleep quality.

Pillows are touted as heavy old fashions feather pillows - they are not! I received my pillow and was so disappointed - felt like any other light weight down pillow, but far more expensive. I'm still trying to navigate the return - difficult at best! Came across as folksy, caring and independent - with an emphasis on customer service. Their customer service is dreadful. Stay away!!

There is ZERO customer support. The telephone number is for sales only. They direct you to email. After two emails with no responses, makes me wonder if this company is a SCAM??

After 3 weeks since my order I am still waiting for my pillow protector cover. The pillow I ordered arrived nearly two weeks ago. Tried online messaging and calling the company but no reply yet. Very disappointed.
