We would describe our Premium Mattress Topper to have a medium feel combined with our zoned technology. However, "feel" or comfort level is subjective, so what feels soft to some may be different to others. In order for our airflow technology to work its best, we recommend you check that the sheets/covers you are using are made from breathable materials. Cotton or bamboo can work well for this purpose.

It is not uncommon for it to take your body a bit of time to adjust to sleeping on a new surface and may feel firmer in the beginning. Your topper is made of really high quality foams, so these take a little while to begin to "break-in" and start to adjust to your body. Hello Cindy, it is not uncommon for it to take your body a bit of time to adjust to sleeping on a new surface and may feel firmer in the beginning. Your topper is made of really high quality foams, so these take a little while to begin to "break-in" and start to adjust to your body. After 2-3 weeks, the foams will be adjusted to you and the way you like to sleep. Also, the Octaspring technology needs a bit of time to get used to being compressed and moved around. It sounds silly, but walking on the topper can help speed up this process. We recommend placing this on the floor and walking for 5-10 minutes across the surface. We want you to be fully satisfied with your product and ask that you give it a minimum of 30 nights before being eligible to return it within our 100 night guarantee. In the meantime we recommend you walk on your topper to allow the Octasprings to fully expand. Like a pair of new shoes, it will take time for you body and the topper to adjust to each other. Hello Angela. Thank you for getting in touch. We're sorry to hear that you may be finding your topper too firm. It is not unusual for your topper to feel firmer than expected in the beginning. This is due to the Octaspring being extra durable and takes time for them to break in. There may also be some slight discomfort as the topper and your body adjust to each other. One thing we recommend that can help with this is to try walking on the topper. Sounds strange, but we've found that this helps to speed up this process and makes it more comfortable in the meantime.
