Katherine did a wonderful job caring for our dog and house during the week we were gone. She communicated every day with pictures and messages. Our dog, an 80 lb Golden Doodle, was the most relaxed and happiest he had ever been when we were gone for a few days. The communication through dog vacay was excellent before, during, and after our trip. I highly recommend it.

In the past, I've had a lot of challenges in getting reliable, local, affordable sitting service for my dog. This app was a last minute effort to get a sitter for my dog and it was a great success. All the sitters that I spoke to were very professional and helpful. I definitely recommend it!

I found DogVacay while using a web search for kennels. At first, I was skeptical but I figured let me try 1 night, what's the worst that can happened? I found a sitter named Heather and she was wonderful, our dog Bella felt comfortable with her and her home. Knowing we were planning to take a longer vacation I used her two more times for overnights just to get Bella used to her home, it was a smart move because by the time I dropped her off for the longer vacation, Bella ran right in and jumped on her couch like a 2nd home. I felt very much at ease, and just knowing that she was not going to be caged up at night like most kennels use it made me happy knowing that I was doing the right thing. It was also much cheaper than most of the kennels in my area. DoVacay was a win/win!

There was a glitch in the reservation system for me and when I called customer service the young man I worked with was very intuitive in trying to figure out the issue. Rather than speaking from a script or going through a list of issues he took time to think about the problem and figured it out. It was a real departure from most other customer service experiences. The service of DogVacay itself was also lifesaving since we needed a dog sitter over the holiday weekend at the last minute. It worked out great for us with a fantastic sitter.

Our dog Cookie just had another great experience with Brandt. She enjoyed playing with the other dogs, and appreciated claiming the deluxe spot in the house. Brandt goes out of his way to accommodate us, communicates frequently, and takes wonderful care of Cookie. She has such a good time that it's a wonder she will even come home. I highly recommend!
