DogVacayReviews of dogvacay.com

I am enjoying so much working hand and hand with dog vacay to run a sound and fulfilling business and meet wonderful people and dogs. I have been able to spread my love for dogs into a great business and have fun doing it.

The staff at Dog VaCay are excellent. Great response time - day, night, weekends, holidays.

I've been very pleased with Dogvacay and the staff. Everyone has been helpful and professional. It's easy to use and I Love hosting new fur babies.

I have been a sitter for dog vacay for about a year now and i love it! I have been able to help support my family doing something that I love!! I have met some amazing dogs and made some great friends!!

I have been a host with DogVacay for almost a year, and I am so happy with my decision to welcome guest dogs into my home! My client base is solid and wonderful to work with, and DogVacay makes the exchange of money and listing process incredibly easy. Further, as a DogVacay mentor, I feel like I am part of a community here in Chicago and we all have the same goal: to keep pets happy, entertained, and safe during their vacations!

A little over a year ago, my daughter and I decided to fill the void left by the nearly simultaneous passing of our elderly dog and cat, by becoming DogVacay hosts. Since we didn't have our own animals anymore, our intention was to offer extra loving care for senior pups or other dogs with special needs, along with the younger more social crowd. We also hoped to have a cat or two along the way. We were stunned by how quickly our DogVacay calendar began to fill up with a wide variety of dogs and cats, the vast majority of which had been rescued by loving new "forever" owners. Luckily for us, the DogVacay support team was only an e-mail or phone call away to help us navigate the booking process and deal with any unexpected bumps we had as we established our dog hotel routines. Our client notebook now has over 50 guests, with more signing up as we have room to accommodate them in our schedule. We've discovered that our services can be life changing for those with special needs animals who were afraid to leave them in traditional kennels or with strangers. The mark these sweet babies leave on our hearts is lasting. We recently had to say goodbye to one of our dearest senior dogs, and we felt the loss almost as much as if he had been a member of our family. It's a pleasure and honor to be trusted with such precious family members, and as our bookings grow so does our sense of having an important mission - one that comes with wagging tails and wet noses! As writers, we spend long days at home, working on our books and other projects. Now we have an endless supply of four-legged friends to provide love and inspiration while we work, and some much needed exercise when we need to take a break! The experience of being DogVacay hosts has been everything and more than we'd hoped it would be.

I love dogs. I really really LOVE dogs. DogVacay gives me a way to spend time with dogs and get paid for it! We have all loved it, including my dog who gets friends to play with.

I have been with Dogvacay since it started in my area. 2009? maybe 2010? (I don't remember the exact date) I have great support. I had one occasion that I needed to take the pet to an emergency visit with the veterinarian. All worked out perfect. Also, everything that I have asked…such as no charge to a customer that cancelled reservation due to tropical storms or death of the pet or terrorism that affected their traveling plans. They worked with the client and I in a speedy and thoughtful way; in return we gained more referrals. Also, the medical insurance is not paid by the hosts, Dogvacay covers the cost unlike some other services being offered. The deductible is reasonable. I like the mobile app and texts, it is very helpful to me since I do check my texts before I listen to any voice mail messages or check my email. I look forward to continue as a host for Dogvacay for many years to come!
