We are very appreciative of DogVacay supplying this service. We have used one host which we have booked again and we did a meet and greet with a second host which we will also use this summer, since our first host won't be available then. DogVacay has been very responsive to my emails when I needed to change reservation dates. I would recommend them to anyone. Our dog will be much better cared for with a host than at a dog boarding facility and for less money.

I've had such a wonderful experience using DogVacay. It's opened up my network, I'm connecting with people almost every day, and I get to meet great dogs. It's one of the best things I've ever done.

We enjoyed our first experience with Dog Vacay. We felt all interactions were informative and professional. The process was simple and we were able to find a place for our pet to stay. They also had a quick turn around when we contacted customer service.

I have used both Dog Vacay and Rover and have had a range of experience. I've used 2 sitters on Dog Vacay. One was fine, but her apartment was a little small for our dog and had no yard. The other is spectacular and i hope to use her forever and ever. Could not be better. We also tried Rover and had a terrible experience there. I don't know that I can blame the site as a whole for that experience, but I can say that after we reported the sitter and suggested he be suspended he was not. He is still working on the site. So the lesson is: be very careful with these sites. Do your homework and research. Check the people out. Check their space out if you can. Ask how many dogs will be there when your dog is present and what the sitter knows about those dogs. Be sure they send you pictures regularly and be sure some of those pictures show the dog out of doors, playing etc. In conclusion: If you find the right person, as we now have, these sites are fabulous. If you do not find the right person, your dog will come back stressed and traumatized.

I have stayed home rather then board my dog in a kennel. With DogVacay I could go away knowing my dogs were in a loving home and be well cared for

We had a great experience with our host who communicated quickly with us and took care of our dog easily and well. He assured us that everything would be fine and it was! He fed him well, kept him exercised, cleaned and happy. We 'll be back soon!

I have used 2 sitters & really liked them both. The first sitter I booked was unfortunately booked up when I used the app the second time so I used a second sitter, they were both awesome ladies that took really good care of my furbaby. I def recommend this service, it's been a huge help for me when I need to travel. Even when I accidentally booked the same sitter twice for the same weekend, when I called customer service (at 11pm, mind you) they were super cool and quick to help and the issue was fixed right away. Great app & service!!!

We have used DogVacay about 5 times in the last year for our two dogs and cat. Each time, the sitter was very communicative, willing to do what was needed to take care of our pets, played with them, took them for walks and sent pictures and/or videos with updates. We really appreciate this service, because having someone stay in our home and pet/house sit while we are away, eases our minds because we know our pets will feel more comfortable and relaxed in their own home. We have often thought that we would sign up to be a sitter once we are better established in our community.
