I found the site through a Google search; I looked at prospective sitters and found one who had two dogs of their own, same breed! We did the meet and greet, and we left our dog in their care for a 4-day getaway. They were wonderful! In fact, we booked a second doggie vacation with them for an upcoming trip. This site is amazing. Costs are very reasonable, too. Thanks, DogVacay!

DogVacay saved me when I had to go away on short notice, and none of my usual dog sitters were available. I was able to find people in my neighborhood who I could meet first and make sure both them & my dog felt comfortable with the arrangement, and everything worked out well. Would def recommend to others, and have already.

Being retired we are constantly traveling. Baxter Boy, our four year old puppy, almost always travels with us. Except when we travel outside the country. Needless to say we planned a month long trip to Guatemala and Mexico in March. What to do? At the recommendation of my daughter, we contacted Dog Vacay.. After my wife interviewed several local sitters.. We decided that Brett and Sadie's home seemed like a safe and happy place for Baxter Boy on our overseas trip. Brett and Sadie did a wonderful job. And we needn't worry about the care of Baxter. He was is a safe environment complete with a fenced in yard. And besides the Loving care of his sitters, he had several four-legged friends to play with.. Brett kept in constant contact with us over the weeks by email. Sending us comments about how Baxter fit into their household. Accompanied by pictures of Baxter eating, playing with his new friends, snuggling next to his temporary caretakers on the couch, and walks in the neighborhood. That showed his enthusiasm and smiling face. Everyone falls in love with our puppy. And Brett and Sadie were no exception. But I made it clear,, he's not up for adoption! LOL When we returned, Brett was flexible and allowed me to pick up Baxter that evening. A long awaited reunion followed. We could tell Baxter was well cared for, he didn't forget us. And was happy to see us! To Brett and Sadie, job well done, And thanks for being there...

I love DogVacay! It help me a lot! My dogs are my family and DogVacay is a way to communicate with people with the same passion for this little cuties. I can relax and enjoy my vacation or whatever I need to do without them. Highly recommend.

What I loved about DogVacay the most is that they do everything for you. You set up and pay for your dog's stay right online. Everything is taken care of in a very streamlined way. Loved it. The sitter you set us up with was excellent and we will use him every time we are away. Thank you for this service. It is Excellent!

What a find! A friend at work recommended this service and at first I was skeptical. My two babies have special needs to the point that traditional boarders and kennels won't accept them. But on DogVacay, I found a sitter who has the time and patience and love to accept my babies, and they love going to see him. His care is so exceptional that I drive across the county to take them there. I would have never found him had it not been for DogVacay.

Well I was worried about leaving the girls with strangers....they home after the week obviously well played and taken care of...I will use this again!
