I've used DogVacay for 4 years now and I've always had a great experience. No matter what state I live in I'm always able to find a pet-sitter near me with great reviews. I even met a life-long friend when I needed a sitter in my then-new home in Raleigh, North Carolina. I always recommend them to my family and friends.

I believe the only way to place your pet while you are gone is to be able to go and check out your choice and how your pet reacts when you pick her or him up. We were fortunate to be able to place our Hooter in a home that pretty much treats him like we do. He was great when we got him home with absolutely no trauma at all. Would not go any other way.

It is worth any price to not have to worry about your pet. What I love is, I found someone who absolutely adores my dog and treats them like family. This was the best find for boarding ever!

We were coming back from Florida and found that the time share we booked in New Orleans for a few days would not take pets. We found DogVacay and Kaitlin. It worked perfectly. She was near the hotel, had a yard and her own dog who was a great host, and she was really easy to work with. The discount for a first time user was great, too. I will certainly look to DogVacay again in the future.

For all dog owners who treat their dogs like children (even though we shouldn´t) it´s a relief to know that Nancy takes such good care of them that they don´t want to come home! Every time I pass her house my dog pulls towards it because he wants to go in!

If you're looking for honest to goodness loving pet sitters this is the place. I have met wonderful people especially Tara that took very good care of my dog. Even for a short notice, the people who ran Dog Vacay can help. Thank you!

I am so thankful that I not only found DogVacay, but Kristin A. to watch my "fur baby." Bishop (my dog) is my child and I do not leave him with just anyone. I am new to the Charlotte area and do not have the support that I did after living in Florida for almost 10 years. I have to say this site and the process has been amazing and I have found the person that will ALWAYS watch Bishop any time I have to travel and can't take him with me.

Our pet sitter Linda was great with my 11-week old puppy while we were away at a baseball tournament. She was great, sending nice updates and pictures daily. I would use her again in the future and plan on telling my friends with pets to use her.
