I love dogvacay so far. I've only been using it for about 6 months, and only in the capacity of a host. I have not needed to contact concierge regarding anything besides cancellations so I can't speak to effectiveness and helpfulness. I do think the 15% cut that Dogvacay takes is a bit steep when you factor in the additional taxes that we need to pay. I try to keep my rate affordable so people in my same financial bracket would be able to afford me and not have to put their dogs in potentially dangerous and unhealthy kennels.

I have had many wonderful vacays and have met some amazing new breeds that I've never experienced before and it has given me a better understanding of the dog world. My only complaint is I think you guys should provide insurance plans for the dog sitters themselves. For example: back in September I was bit by a dog on my hand during a meet and greet. I had to be rushed to the ER for an $100 visit ,luckily it was only that much seeing as I have good insurance. I feel Dogvacay should provide some kind of protection insurance for the sitters and not only the customers dog. I love your site and will continue with Dogvacay and love the service otherwise. Very satisfied! Good tool and great feedback from concierge when needed. I just would like to add a note regarding the lack of better way to send pics and videos to our customer not only using the app on the cel phone but also through the website and some kind of reward for constant sitter swith good reviews.

I started out with dogvacay a little over 18 months ago. What was just going to be one or two dogs every few weekends ended up being much bigger, much busier and much more fun. And with the changes in the growth. We're going through now I see some things that concern me, but understanding the reasoning behind them. Where I once had a lot of meet and greets I now have 0 and the only ones requesting reservations are my return customers. When I plug in my zip code, in the search bar, there are about 12 people ahead of me in different zip codes listed as top host and that bothers me. The algorithms are not true to form and I don't understand them, that means less new customers when my old customers either has a death of a dog or they move out of state. Once the initial kinks are worked out of the system I'm sure it will be beneficial to both new and established hosts. I attended the town hall meeting and have made notes and suggestions but I have still been waiting for the team to ask for them. J haven't received anything via email or form to fill out. Overall I am a part of the Dog Vacay family and will still offer 100% to what I do best.

Everything with DogVacay has been great with the exception of one thing: follow through. I was contacted by DogVacay for a few different reasons, but when I submitted the requested information, I never heard anything about it again. We were supposed to have some type of Google listing that I waited for a verification code in the mail for. Once I provided that, I was told I'd be updated when the site launched. This was at least three months ago. Still haven't heard anything. I was also asked to be part of he Pro program where they take pictures of your apartment and whatnot. Never heard anything back about that either.

Well I was very happy with how Dogvacay operates , I was actually super happy every time I called you guys were very supportive and helpful and then you dv open a host in my complex at 0.3 miles from me, meaning 3 blocks away from me and I felt like sssss...sight . And on top of that he was my customer and also is $5 cheaper than me. I am not changing but I feel is not the Same

DogVacay has been a very good company to deal with. The only thing I'd like to recommend to them is that they have later hours with their staff for my support. They have the backup temporaries that answer most questions, but I'd like the real deal a little more accessible. Otherwise, I have had no problems with them.
