My dog has special needs, so she usually stays with family when I'm gone. However, we had a family getaway a while back, and I needed someone to watch her, preferably in my house. The Dog Vacay staff was amazing with her, kept me updated, and I came home to a happy puppy.

The original sitter I used was excellent and our dogs were well taken care off at her home. However, later I found out she was on hiatus and it was back to the drawing board. We were going away for an overnight stay and this time we decided to have a sitter come over to our home and look after our furry babies. They did an excellent job and took good care of our home as well. Information that helped us in choosing a sitter was the number of clients, repeat customers and the reviews on the sitters profile. The most important was the initial meet and greet which helped in determining our comfort level.

Every time the service has been great. Our dog loves going over to Nikki's fora little dog vacation!

So happy to have found dogvacay.com. I found that my dog kept coming home from the kennel sick while I was away. A friend told me about this site and I went on and started interviewing people. Of the two couples I met I liked both a lot and thought that both environments would be great for my girl. We had a test stay recently and we loved Connie and Ron, they treated my dog with such care and TLC, and I should mention that they welcomed me to their home twice before the stay and were very attentive to my dog who has a few special needs. I would highly recommend this site.

I know I can leave my dog and be assured that he will have a good day and will be well taken care of. I don't worry about him at all!
