Great experience with finding a host. Prices in US and not worth it for Canadians.

All the sitters I have used so far were great. Brody has a couple scabs from playing with one of the sitter's dogs and they are areas that don't heal so fast, but the same thing happens at the dog park. Always received photos of him so I'm happy with the service.

I used DogVacay for my dog Yogi, since I tried the kennel and I just didn't feel comfortable with him being in a crate most of the time. So when I found out about DogVacay I made an appt. to visit the person home and to make sure the place was safe for Yogi to roam outside and to see how the sitter took to yogi and vice versa. Needless to say I was very comfortable leaving in him in a good environment, where he could play outside and also had other furry friends to play with while I was gone. When I picked him up he seemed very well cared for and appeared to enjoy playing with his new friends. Will defiantly call Stephanie again real soon. I would recommend DogVacay for anyone looking for a place to have their pet stay, while they are on vacation.....

Your app has been so helpful for me. My wife and I both travel for our jobs, and your service works perfectly for us when we occaisionally need help caring for our two labs. Knowing who is caring for them, and getting pictures is very reassuring when you are on the road.

Love the idea, as I dislike kennels and the very idea of being charged for 15 minute walks when that's the whole point of looking after dogs! They need more than 15 minutes of cuddle/walk time. The interface of the app could be improved on. That said, I've not had any trouble so far, and would use them again.
