As far as I can see, dogvay operates the website and collects the money, which I guess they do well. The hosts that I left my dog with were fantastic people.

We wanted to go on a road trip at the last minute but had no idea who would be able to watch our 7mon old dog with short notice. After exhausting all options, I was googling what could be done. I looked into a couple places but they use kennels and the costs added up to provide exercise and care. Then I found DogVacay, I started looking into it and found some people close to us. We did a meet & greet and loved her, we went on a 2wk roadtrip knowing our dog was in good hands. We recieved daily up dates, pictures, & videos. We picked her up and she was glad to see us but spent the next day moping because she had a great time with new friends. We also started using another person for daycare once in awhile, and again she is professional, sends videos, pictures, and asks questions if needed. These people are great, the ones I chose, and I feel great about leaving my precious baby with them if needed. Thank you for thinking of this service.

I find using DogVacay a very conveinent way to board my dog. You have options, the opportunity to meet sitters before you board; fees are about the same as if you board at a vet, kennel or boarding facility; and most important, my dog is in the company of humans and other dogs all the time. What a great way to board and socialize your dog without paying extra for measured and costly play sessions. I like the online scheduling and knowing what each sitter accepts up front.

Love this dog version of Airb&b! We needed a place for our little Maltipoo, Lily, to stay on the way up to Maine - a family event prevented us from including her in our day's plans. Our overnight doggie-care people were wonderful, it was an amazingly great fit. I've already recommended DogVacay to a number of my friends. The cute name doesn't hurt either! It was a real lifesaver for us.

I was in need of a dog sitter as my normal one was on vacation. I was worried about searching online for a sitter as it would be someone I didn't know. Then I found DogVacay. Through searching my area, I found several sitters and learned all about them on the site. I love that DogVacay has requirements and sitters are checked out. When I narrowed it down to a few sitters, I took my dog and visited them to see how I liked best and who my dog liked. I was pleased with who I chose and my dog seemed happy and well cared for!

Solid experience with an easy interface and navigation. No issue connecting with the host and everything went impossibly smoothly.

Our dogs have enjoyed going to spend time with each sitter we have used. The reservation system works well and communication is prompt and clear. We will certainly continue to use this awesome service!
