I have always been able to leave my dogs in the care of friends and family, but when I moved to a whole new location I no longer had friends and family to assist and my new job requires travel! So i quickly went to work and was so thankful to find DogVacay - because the other thing i realized is that i was not comfortable leaving my dogs in their own home, with only 1-2 visits a day - I don't know my neighbors or even the area all that well - and so i became even more thankful when i discovered that really good people will allow my dogs to stay in their home - that service is invaluable to me. Now that i am settled in my new location I am no longer having to travel as much for work but I will most definitely be using Jen - the DogVacay person we used - again, every time i do have to travel and will know that my dogs are safe and being well cared for! Thank you DogVacay for providing an invaluable service!

We love our pet sitter. Our golden mix, who has some fear aggression, loves our sitter. The Springer pup loves everyone. Our new sitter gives them equal opportunity love. However, just try to make dog walking reservations and/or change something...you will spend WAY too much time trying to figure it out. The website in this regard is horrible. It was not set up for pet walking, but rather, dog vacays or one-off overnight stays. I almost went to a new provider because I spent so much time trying to sort it out. The rating system above is unfair. I'd give the pet sitter a 5 and the dog vacay site a 2.

Our hostess was amazing and so is this service. However, I've already grown tired of the exorbitant number of emails from Dog Vacay, it's been a little over a month since we used them. I feel hounded with reminders, announcements, statements of availability, and now the need for a review. I obviously know where to find you please stop crowding my inbox.

Dog Vacay is a great tool for us to make money doing what we love- playing with pups. My husband and I always say we are so happy we found and started dog vacay because it has helped us pay off our bills and have extra money and it gives us (and our pup max) a extra fun in our life when we get to watch other pups. We had a dog get a sore due to allergies once and had to take her to the vet and dog vacay took care of everything and made sure everything was ok. It is comforting to know that they have our backs and insure us too. My only comment is that I think taking 20% of our rate is a bit steep...I feel like a max of 15% is more appropriate.

I had a great experience with Dogvacay. Alex was great with Rufus and he seemed very comfortable with her. She text me to let me know how he was doing regularly. Would definitely recommend.

Total lifesaver- we love our new sitter!! She was amazing and the system from start to finish was so easy. Wish there was an easier cancellation rather than calling every time when you accidentally put something in twice or something but that's all!

I love my pet sitter and I'm glad to have found the Dogvacay website. I do think that there needs to be some upgrades so that the reservation can be amended. I needed to add a couple of days to my original reservation and, even though it was approved by my pet sitter, I was unable to add the days. A contact to customer service didn't help solve the problem either. But when I opted to pay the sitter directly, Dogvacay was very quick to respond to say we shouldn't handle it that way. Other than this issue, I've been very happy.
