I have enjoyed Dog Vacay so much and it has helped me out a great deal. Not only do the sitters treat your dog just like they do their own, but you get a chance to meet them. Have a one on one to talk and get to know each other. My dog Bella just fell in love with Austin and Ashley the sitters who watched over her.

Although Hurricane Matthew forced us to evacuate early, Sandra took such great care of our Gracie, sending us pictures and updates during our stay. We would definitely use her again when we return to Myrtle Beach. We appreciated being refunded for the days that we were unable to stay because of the evacuation order.

This was a great alternative to a dog kennel. Our dog got one on one attention and lots of love. The only thing I wish is that we could comment on the photos the dog sitter sent us instead of having to send a message each time. We will be using this again.

A neighbor suggested we use DogVacay for an upcoming vacation. We did and we are really happy with finding Claudia. Her home and heart are dog friendly. Our dog is excited to see her and has so much fun playing with the other dogs at her house (and enjoys looking for her cat).

I/we were thrilled with the easiness of obtaining a very loving family, to watch our Amber, so we could really rest and relax on our vacation. The pics through our phone sent to us, reassured us that she was taken care of and was on a vacation on her own, away from us. The exciting thing was when we went to pick her up, she didn't even come right away. To us, this means she was comfortable, felt secure and safe and loved being there with the Houlihans. We are so glad we "happened" upon DogVacay from petmd.com and that the Houlihans could take her on such short notice. Cancelled the kennel boarding we had set up which we were NOT thrilled with.
