This is a great alternative to boarding your dogs in a kennel. Our two dogs stayed several nights with a wonderful pet sitter. The dogs love getting more focused attention and getting walked several times a day. The site provides information about prices, yard and living conditions, size of dogs allowed and much more. I also like being able to communicate with the pet sitter if there are any further questions. The sitters usually take courses on pet sitting and go over the expectations required to do well. Overall, my dogs had a great time, we had a great vacation, it was affordable, and it is an easy to use website and mobile app. I would recommend this site as long as your research and find the right sitter.

Ever experience has been amazing, all the families have been so great with our girl!! It makes going away so much easier when your best friend is not stuck in a kennel. I would recommend (and do!) this service to anyone with a furry family member.

Luna's stay was awesome.

The concept of dog vacay is great! No more leaving my fur babies in a noisy room in a tiny kennel for many hours at a time. Especially if they are used to having their room to roam. Being able meet the caregiver first to see if your doggie is a match for the caregiver and their doggies, if they have any was a relief. I also love that we get pictures of our doggies while we are away. We have used dog vacay three times now (same family) and it is so easy to message back and fourth with our caregiver to check schedules etc. I would not want to board our doggies any other way!

All the pet sitters I talked to were great. The company helped me right away when I had a question about payment. Reassuring that my sitter was bonded :)

I love DogVacay! They do everything they can to make finding a dog-sitter as easy for you as possible. The prices are upfront and I like being able to pay for everything through the app and not worry about paying the sitter directly. Through their trainings, they show that their sitters are qualified and ready to handle my dog with the care he needs.
