When we decided to travel out of the country, the first thing my husband asked was 'What about the boys?" meaning, of course, our dogs. Neither of us wanted to board them at some anonymous kennel, so I started looking around for another option. I was delighted to find DogVacay and our wonderful host, Mason. We returned after two weeks to find our two boys happy, healthy and not in any hurry to come home. Just what I was hoping for! DogVacay is a wonderful service for anyone who loves their animals--which should certainly be EVERYONE!

Found a good 2nd home for our pet while away. Had a minor issue with scheduling the first time around, but DogVacay was quick to respond and take care of the matter. Would use this service again.

We hadn't boarded our two dogs in someone else's home before and we were a little nervous. We picked a home that looked and sounded close to how we care for our dogs. We went over to the home for a "meet and greet" and spent over half an hour talking with the family and observing how they interacted with our dogs. We felt very comfortable with our decision to board them there. While we were away, we received photos, I texted the family to check on our dogs and received prompt reassuring answers. Our dogs looked great, happy when we picked them up. I would definitely board them there again for our next vacation.

My dogs are family, in 65 years of having dogs I've never left them in a kennel or with another person. I needed to know and trust whoever cared for them. One person who cares for and loves dogs as much as I do. I found that with Cyndi. It was a big step for us to leave our boys with her. She spoiled them rotten just as we do. Wouldn't leave them with anyone else, she is simply the best.

What I liked was the ability to meet the sitter in advance. That way both the sitter and the dog have a chance to see if it will workout. Having an older dog I really like that when I am away, she can stay in a home away from home and sleep on the couch! Just like home. Both times I used Dog Vacay the sitters were very attentive to my dogs needs and medications. She was happy and well taken care of.

I have had great luck finding daycare for my 2 dogs that I wouldn't just trust with anyone.
