I made an appointment and received email confirmation. I checked a day before if everything was ok as generally we receive reminder emails or text messages with any appointment. I could not find my appointment initially, later received email stating I will need to log in and wait for a while for the doctor to connect. I called to figure out what was going on. Why make an appointment and wait for two weeks if still have to wait for longer period of time. I called the customer service and was placed hold for half hour. I called the next day, same thing, i called the third day, after being unable to connect with the doctor, still no luck. Cannot reach anyone, Dr. Phil, I have been watching your show for 21 years. You proudly mention Dr on demand saying you and your son created this service. Where is the help and quality. This is very disappointing. I thought you cared about people. Check all these reviews. This is very upsetting knowing Dr. Phil is involved in this company yet there is no care for people. Walk your talk.

My therapy only costs 38$ per session usually. I got billed over 130$ for a session I already paid 38$ for.... I tried calling their customer service twice and no one picked up.

Used them for therapy - therapists okay. The Issue is their billing, customer service. When I signed up (through my insurance) I gave them a credit card. The first time I used them they waited over 6 months to run my insurance (which had changed) then charged be through PayPal (something I had not linked for them) instead of my credit card, so I assumed it was a scam. They also did this a second time AGAIN despite having a credit card on file. I also never received a bill. I have not been able to get a hold of customer service (on hold for over 30 minutes twice, no response to email).

This is a horrible service. The providers Ive had are all good. However your support and billing makes no sense and is horrid. Always something with billing. ALWAYS. Now there was a glitch in YOUR system and Dr on Demand just says we'll take the money RIGHT NOW FOR SEVERAL VISITS. They have hit my account I kid you not over 20x in the last day or so. Finally call and ask can you take this out on Thursday, I have a surgery coming up Tuesday and cannot afford this now. Rep checks with supervisor and nope. Nothing can be done. Doesnt matter. There is no reason why I should have to shuffle around all of my important things going on because they had system issues. I cancelled it. Never mind. The year and a half I have been using this service, its always something with billing. ALWAYS. Horrible service. I thought with Dr Phil starting this company it would have integrity or some value or compassion. Something. Your not getting any of that. And im know im not the only one. I have learned so much about healthcare from the perspective of a patient. Its disgusting. Just disgusting. I had to finally make a decision that this is not helping my health especially mentally and cancel future appointments and cancel this account. Awful decisiom to have to make in the middle of receiving care but Dr on Demand doesnt give you a choice. In hard times and well times you cannot depend on any information obtained by staff. Horrible.

On December 7, 2022, I had an appointment with a DOD provider. Every appointment up until that date was fully covered by my insurance. And every time I booked an appointment up until that date, their website stated that the visit would be covered at 100% with no co-payment and showed $0.00 during booking. However, almost four months later, I recived a bill for $124.00 for that visit. I repeat, almost four months later. I stopped booking with DOD because when I attempted to book an appointment in January, it showed that it was no longer fully covered by my insurance and that there would be a co-pay moving forward. I didn't book because it wasn't worth the $124.00. I would have never booked the appointment in December if I knew that there was even the slightest possibility of being charged in the future because it had always been covered previously. I called on March 20, 2023 to have someone explain why I received a bill. The representative sounded smarmy over the phone, which immediately irritated me. I asked for her to escalate the issue of making it CLEAR that DOD should always show that patients will get charged post appointment. I personally find it incredibly misleading to show in BOLD that your visit will cost $0.00 and then get a bill stating otherwise months down the road. Even if the cost says "Estimated $0.00." It said that every other appointment, so why would I suddenly think I wouldn't be covered? Especially because in Decemer the estimate was "$0.00" and in January the estimate was "$124.00," which is when I didn't book another appointment. I also spoke with a rep via email. The company is giving excuses and expects me to work with my insurance to rectify the matter. Albeit they're the company that told me "free." Suffice it to say, I won't be using DOD again. Ever. BEWARE!!! Check out other options or go to your local InstaCare clinic. I would imagine a 1.4/5 star rating speaks for itself. Do yourself a favor and skip the headache!

I have tried three times, had appointments and everything and never once spoke to any doctor. They never picked up and i waited the whole 45 mins.

Worst customer service

I explained my preexisting condition to Dr. Weiss and my need for a refill due to my Dr. leaving her practice and the wait list for a new Dr. She ordered tests and then coded the visit for a condition that is rarely covered by insurance. Due to her coding of the visit, my insurance won't pay. DoD and the Dr. refuse to recode and now I have to pay over $1,100 for tests and the visit. Terrible customer service as well.
