I should have looked at the reviews before coming here. Dr. On demand has ruined my life they write you dr notes and tell you to not go to work and when my job trys to reach them the Dr. Cant be reached . I make appointment each time for FMLA (which I pay for) they don't turn it in until after a month later. I have not been paid for a month now for that visit now I'm homeless. I wish I went somewhere else instead.

The last 2 times I’ve used, have waited over an hour (which defeats the purpose of “on demand” and is in stark contrast to their ads you’ll be seen in 5-10 minutes). After finally getting in, I was denied care both times based on very basic info that was in my chart/asked during the screening process (Are you pregnant? If this involves your ear, even if it’s just a sinus infection, have to go in-person elsewhere). I get chronic sinus infections 4 times a year, like clockwork. This isn’t abnormal or a big reach. Both times I’ve been on vacation and our insurance doesn’t cover out-of-state care, so this is my only realistic option. I understand limits of telehealth but a) this is BASIC STANDARD CARE for my 100th+ sinus infection and b) you could’ve saved me the hours and charges (I was still charged, of course) if you actually use anything in the screening process.

The wait times are not accurate. I initially logged in and filled out my info and it said less than 5mins for an appointment. As soon as I clicked find a provider it jumped to 45 minutes. Then it quickly said 20-30 minutes and it suggested I get a text when I’m next in line. Well I was never seen, it would send me texts saying I’m up soon, would open up the app and it then said 20-30 mins. Then it dropped to 10-20mins and then 5-10mins only to jump back up to 20-30mins. After an hour and half, I gave up and canceled. This is the worst service I’ve had on a medical video app and I wasn’t even helped.

Can't get in. Terrible.

My 19 year old son had the same experience some others wrote about. Allergies for a week, taking antihistamine. Got a horrible sinus infection with pounding headache, aching pressure behind my eyes and when he could blow my nose it was yellowish green. Told him to use Nose spray and pseudoephedrine. He had to go to urgent care the same day to get appropriate treatment with antibiotics. Don’t waste your time or money! Just go to urgent care to start with. This is the second time this has happened to us.

I know I have a sinus infection, get them regularly this time of year. Can't get an appt with my PC because we are going out of town this week. All she told me was I could have a steroid and use a neti pot 2 times a day. She also went straight to Covid as her excuse for my sinus pain. She would not prescribe an antibiotic for 12 days! After 12 days of sinus pain, I think I would rather have my face crushed by an elephant! No help at all. Do not recommend!

This service is extremely awful! It is providing unethical medical practices and mental health care. Once they get your money, they will not return it even if your appointment is shorter than promised, or you get nothing out of it, or if the service was not up to standards. Don’t waste your money!

I told the nurse practitioner I had a sinus infection. I get them quite often, couple times a year. I am 62 years old and know my body and my symptoms. She would not prescribe an antibiotic and prescribed steroids for a diabetic. I took the steroids with no help and two weeks later I still had the sinus infection and called telemed and received a rx for an antiobiotic and three days later was almost back to 100%. I called dr on demand several times to discuss with customer service and they stand totally behind their doctors bad diagnosis. I would never use dr. On demand. Very poor business practices. I am not sure of the date of service.
