I had great care from the doctors on Doctor on Demand. However, the company has overcharged me $549 and refuses to respond or address this issue. In 2023, I had Humana insurance. They covered the visits in full with $0 copay but Doctor on Demand continued to charge me $40 for every visit. They would do a refund here or there. When my insurance changed in January, I provided the information before my visit. They billed me $99; however, they never billed my insurance and my copay was only $30.

Had appointment and was connected with a nurse practitioner within a minute. She really had no clue about my condition and had to contact her “manager” for help about a prescription I have used before. Could have had the same experience at a retail store. I have used their services in the past but with REAL doctors. What a waste of money! Never again.

The doctor was thorough and really great but before I saw the doctor I had a condescending desk jockey who didn’t know that I had a brain even though I’m 65 years old. He acted like I didn’t know the difference between a call on the phone, and a video call. Anybody who knows anything, knows that they’re both “a call.“ recon continued correcting me anyway. I was mad about that. There was no warning at all when I was getting my doctor. I set my notifications on for the Dr On Demand and messaging, and I stood there looking at the phone and I still missed my call. Ridiculous, when I called back, the condescending jerk on the line give me another appointment two hours later, to punish me. I called right back myself, and had my appointment in about 20 minutes, and canceled the other call. Just really bad customer service.

The Dr I saw was great but trying to get any of your documents from them is crazy I understand the release process but I have been waiting since May 25 for information to be sent to my job Dr told me he completed it June 3 and here we are on June 9 and my job has yet to get anything 2 days ago I signed papers saying send it to me still nothing so unprofessional playing with people lively hood while seeking help is not cool .I would love to keep seeing the Dr I had on their platform but after this never again

I'm giving Dr on Demand ONLY 2 stars for 3 reasons. Unlike Dr. Phil saying you get connected in minutes....well, if he means 15-18 min's then he's spot on. Second, there's Lab Orders: My CRUCIAL LABS got lost in cyberspace because the prescriber did not put ANY info on where to send the results, so after I paid $40 dollars to the lab, I never received them. I wound up having to have a surgical procedure, because of the time that lapsed diagnosing me (More money spent) !! Labcorp will not release them to you unless it's in tandem with the prescriber. MAKE SURE YOU DISCUSS HOW THE LAB RESULTS WILL BE RELEASED, AND WHO YOU CAN CALL IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHERE THEY ARE! Finally, the people you connect with have zero patience on behalf of any type of technical issuse, such as "in and out" video or sound problems. They simply IMMEDIATELY hang up without trying to visit with you, or calling you back. Keep an eye on your credit card. Make sure you are credited properly for being cut-off, after you've waited for 15 minutes!

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the doctors are great. However I've been trying for a month to obtain my medical records from one 13 minute visit and have been completely ignored through repeated attempts. Customer service provided no help in obtaining the information. Do not do doctor on demand if you will need records. They will withhold your information illegally.

I have been dealing with grief and loss do to the passing of my son. I've had a few appointments with a psychiatrist and counselor. My councilor Carrie Ann Prince decided to stand me up by not picking up the phone at our scheduled time. I was on time and 10 minutes later I was disconnected without any notification. I called customer service and they informed me it was the councilor that wasn't available and disconnected the appointment. I'm getting charged $136 for missed appointment that I can't afford. Dr Phil and son who owns this service doesn't advertise that part of the service. Thanks DR PHIL MCGRAW AND SON. You say you care so fix this!

Every time I've called them--and I do mean every time--they've come to the conclusion that I should go to the emergency room. Why? They don't want to be liable for anything. Have a head cold? They'll ask you enough questions to get to the point of recommending the ER. May as well start by going to a local doc in a box, your ER, or going nowhere. Doctor On Demand is a waste of time. (Also, I've never once had an actual "doctor" on demand. It's always some kind of nurse.)
