Neglected to check reviews before ordering, silly me. All the one star reviews are quite correct indeed, unfortunately.
Do NOT order from this company if you are outside the US! ...or even in the US, judging by the reviews. They say nothing about having no presence in Europe on their website, you have to find that out the hard way: first noticed the extra $30 for shipping on my credit card, I thought 'no problem, that's ok, my fault, forgot to check', then comes a request from EU customs to pay $50 in import duty, I say 'ok no problem', then comes serious paperwork to send it back to the US + $45 shipping, still saying 'ok no problem', even though I had to contact DNA complete for a phone number (without which UPS cannot deliver) because there is no phone number on the website(shady), they then tell me to send it to a different 'new' address than instructed in the kit instructions(weird). The straw that broke the Camel's back came when UPS said that there is a $50 charge to the 'receiver' to import my saliva back into the US!!!?? and that "The receiver has cancelled the product order and refused delivery"! Now even I finally say 'NOT OKAY!'
$199 whole genome sequencing; if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

No results after four months...
I submitted my sample in mid January and it's been 18 weeks with no results. I contacted them a month or so ago about this and got a generic response from them that they'll let me know when the results come in. Other labs typically have results in 4-6 weeks. My next step, if they don't give me results or a refund, is to have my credit card company cancel the charge.

I would NEVER trust DNA Complete /…
I would NEVER trust DNA Complete / Nebula Genomics with my DNA after this experience
I honestly cannot believe this company is allowed to operate this way.
I spent over USD $1,000 (around SGD $1,350) purchasing two whole-genome sequencing kits from DNA Complete / Nebula Genomics.
Thankfully, before submitting my DNA, I researched the company more deeply and found huge numbers of recent customer complaints online describing:
* delays lasting many months or even years,
* terrible communication,
* customers endlessly chasing results,
* and people feeling completely trapped once their DNA had already been submitted.
That immediately raised serious alarm bells for me.
I contacted the company directly and asked very simple, reasonable questions:
* What is the expected timeline for results?
* Is there any guaranteed delivery timeframe?
* What protection exists if results are never delivered?
Their answer in writing was effectively:
“We do not guarantee data delivery times.”
Think about that carefully.
This is a company asking customers to hand over irreversible, highly sensitive biological data while refusing to commit to any timeframe whatsoever for delivering the actual sequencing service.
At that moment I realised:
I do not trust this company with my DNA.
I therefore refused to submit my samples and requested a refund.
The response?
Absolutely no refund.
The company’s entire position was basically:
“We shipped the kits.”
That’s it.
Apparently in their eyes, sending plastic tubes in the post means the service has been fulfilled — even though:
* sequencing never started,
* extraction status remained pending,
* no DNA was ever submitted,
* no analysis was ever performed,
* and no results were ever delivered.
The actual product people are paying for is NOT plastic tubes.
People are paying for:
* sequencing,
* analysis,
* data processing,
* reporting,
* reliability,
* and trust.
Instead, customers are expected to accept unlimited uncertainty under terms that essentially remove all accountability from the company.
What shocked me even more was discovering how difficult this becomes with banks and chargebacks, because the company has drafted their terms in a way that heavily protects themselves while leaving customers exposed.
So let me say this clearly for anyone considering DNA Complete / Nebula:
You need to understand that once they have your money, you may have very little protection if things go wrong.
Personally, after this experience:
I would not trust this company with my car keys, let alone my DNA.
Please research carefully before using them.

If I could give zero starts I would.
If I could give zero starts I would. This company should be investigated as a scam. I have never received my results, nor have I heard from them. Customer service is useless and gives you the business line of "its processing". cant give a date of when results will be received. Save your money

Paid over $1000 for a DNA test
Paid over $1000 for a DNA test. They confirmed receiving my sample in July 2025 and promised results in 4–6 weeks. Almost 1 year later: no results, no real support, and they stopped replying to emails. Extremely disappointing experience. Opened a chargeback dispute with my bank.

Total rubbish
Total rubbish, so far been waiting 6 months and no results despite many many emails and trying to get someone on the phone. Maybe the company doesn't really exist and they are a complete scam. Definielty don't touch them!

Warning – no results after months
I ordered and paid for the DNA Complete test, but after more than 4 months I still have not received any results. Customer support only gives vague answers and cannot provide a clear timeline. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this service. Be aware that results may take a very long time with no guarantee. I am now considering taking furter steps due to the lack of service.

Wish I’d checked the reviews before…
Wish I’d checked the reviews before purchasing. It’s been nearly 8 full months since my dna was received…I’m still waiting on results. Scam is an understatement. Even if they were delivered today, who could trust them!
