DNA Diagnostic Center is the best service for individuals who need to discover family members. They make it simple to investigate your ethnic origins. I highly recommend the services offer and they have excellent customer service. I must admit I was afraid at first, but they were very friendly and made the experience pleasant.

Don’t waste your time
My sons father did a at home DNA test, and said he did it through you guys, and the results came back as him not being the father when he was the only one I slept with. I am in the process of getting a test through the state and done professionally! My son is about to be 5 months and his father is not around at all. I highly recommend getting a DNA test done by another company or get it done PROFESSIONALLY. Also I would like a copy of how your results paper look if you can email me a sample sheet or tell me where I could look to find it that would be great!

Hi, Makayla. Your son's father should have included you in testing, so I understand why you're unhappy. Including you would have been the right thing to do. You also mention getting a professional test, but that's exactly what a home test from a reputable company like DDC is.
Home Test vs. Legal Test
The only difference between a home paternity test and a legal one is how the DNA sample samples are collected. For a home test, the test participants collect the DNA themselves and send it in for testing. With a legal test, IDs are checked at an approved facility and DNA collection and submission to the lab is witnessed. What many people don't know is that, once samples arrive at our lab, the testing process is exactly the same: it is performed professionally by DNA-testing experts and results are reviewed by our in-house PhDs. So, if the same DNA is submitted for both tests, a home test is every bit as accurate as a test done through the state.
You can be sure the test done through DDC was handled professionally and correctly. We perform both home tests and legal tests at our accredited laboratory. If you want to see a sample report, doing a Google image search should provide what you're looking for.

The results came fast but...
The results came fast but getting it all set up was a pain. I had to call in three times to confirm appointments to get the samples taken and even after all those calls they still couldn't get it straight. They were quick to take my money but every person I Spoke to, as nice as they were, did not do what they said they would.

Went through your system twice
Went through your system twice, 1st time "at home test" 2nd time at Reed City Hospital... neither time was notified of results...however I spent over $400. Feel totally ripped off !!!!! Had scheduled appointment time set up at the Hospital...h I never, on arrival they were totally rude & said we had no such appt scheduled. Told us to leave. We called the original person AthENA & she told us to give her about 10 minutes & to come back in. We did....& they accommodated us then. Still have not received any results !!! Other party said it was " no match"!!! For THAT much money...you should seen me a copy of the results !!! I GOT NOTHING !!!!

7/20/20: Hello, David. We're sorry you're not satisfied with your DDC experience. For the first test, the test was set up by the other party in the case and the result was sent to the secure online account they set up. It was a non-legal test and we have no record of your requesting a report. For the second test. you set it up and the result was posted to your secure account; you can access it with your login information, download the PDF, and print it, if you'd like. For non-legal tests, we only send out hard copies upon request. We apologize you feel you weren't treated well at the hospital we contract with for DNA collection . At the time you complained about it on the phone with us, we reached out to them to let them know. If you have any other questions or concerns, you're welcome to contact us directly at 800.831.1906.

I find it also shady that anytime…
Reply: It didn’t notify me until today. I have sent you my info privately.
4th reply: I haven’t received anything.
Third reply: Don’t know why I would review a company I never used, and know actual names of people who work there if I never used you. To what email?
My second reply: We have already done a lab review and you “stand by your results”. How do I privately respond to you, when I get no response by email or get handed off several times, to not be satisfied with what I’m told when I call. I am sure you will report this review.
My reply: I spoke with Julie not too long ago, when I requested the actual gene matching report. I pay almost 2k for this test I am entitled to that. She said it’s very confusing for me to read and no other lab could read their sequencing as well as vice versa, therefor I cannot have that report. She informed me that your facility would not be able to read another lab’s sequencing and therefore would have no reason to even want another facilities report. So why would you request another labs findings if you can’t read it? Makes no sense to me. I am very concerned my results were incorrect for no fault of my own, I followed all the instructions. My due date was moved up, which would eliminate the gentleman you are claiming is the father. Not only that, my baby is developing looking nothing like the man that was included as the father.
I will be retesting with another company when the baby is born. This has caused me a great deal of emotional pain, and experiencing this pregnancy alone, due to your results.
What you can do to ease my feelings towards this company is provide me the sequencing report.
Original review: I find it also shady that anytime someone posts a negative review about incorrect results DDC has it immediately taken down.
People should know you are not 100% accurate like you claim. There are flaws in everything.

UPDATE 7/20/20: It shows as having been sent on 7/17. I'll see what else I can do.
UPDATE: You may respond to me privately through the email I sent through Trustpilot today.
UPDATE 7/17/20: It's for security and privacy reasons. Please provide that case number privately. Otherwise, I have no way to confirm that this is a legitimate review. Thanks!
UPDATE 7/17/20: Julia, to confirm your identity, please provide a case number privately, as requested through Trustpilot, so we can do a further follow-up. Thank you.
7/17/20: Hi, Julia.
If we make a mistake, we own it; but we also will take action to remove a review if a claim of incorrect results is proven false through our internal investigations or is unsubstantiated by the customer.
Here's how it works:
If a customer claims an incorrect result in a review, we immediately implement a comprehensive case-review process. We start by reviewing all processes and data associated with the DDC test. Then, if the customer claims a different result on a second non-DDC test, we request the data from the other test so that we can compare genetic data and ensure the same people participated in both tests.
In many cases where there is a discrepancy in results, one participant perpetrated fraud: For example, a possible father submitted someone else's DNA as his own for a home test. But then, when a subsequent legal test was performed and DNA collection is witnessed, of course the results are going to be different. In these cases, we ask for a review to be removed because the different results were not due to any error on the part of DDC.
Upon investigation, we discover that some of the reviews claiming incorrect results here on our Trustpilot page were actually for other companies and not ours, so yes, we ask for those reviews to be removed so that Trustpilot visitors are not misinformed.
If a customer claims a wrong result but is not willing to communicate with us to back up their claim, we will ask for the review to be removed.
We are a top private DNA-testing provider worldwide, and our good reputation is extremely important to us. We maintain the highest levels of accreditation and millions have trusted us for accurate results since 1995. Because we operate with integrity, you'll find that we respond to all kinds of reviews, both good and not-so-good.

On my side the experience was perfect
On my side the experience was perfect. Quick and handled professionally. On my daughter side it was alittle mix up but it was handled well. The results were quick and straight to the point of clarity.
