All good so far. Hoping the dividend payments go up. Update on 9/29 - Adding one more star!!! Never thought that DiversyFund would respond to my comment. Thanks so much DiversyFund for the explanation of the dividend payments. Looking forward to growing my very small investment amount (sorry, that's all I can afford) along with you!!! Kudos to your UI and UX team. Both Portal pages and mobile app screens are simplistic and straight forward.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to review us! Keep in mind that your first dividend is always prorated based on the number of days you were invested for the month. It looks like your investment cleared escrow near the end of the month so you were only invested a few days which is why your dividend is on the lower side. Another thing to point out is that the dividend does not reflect the total return of your investment, only the cash-flow from incoming rents, it does not factor in the appreciation of the assets that happens over an extended period of time. Your total return on your investment will be comprised of your Dividends and any Capital Appreciation realized at the time of sale. We acquire multifamily properties with approximately 150+units and do what is called a "value-add play". We add value to the building via renovations, this allows us to increase rents and it also means the renovated building is worth more than what we acquired it for. The properties we acquire are typically in areas with strong job growth and population growth and vacancy rates below the national average.
