I will start by saying that the online experience to sign up for someone to come and see you went well. They did give me a four hour window of time which I thought was kind of long and the website says 60 to 90 minutes. The website also says that a nurse practitioner and a technician will come to your home and the website also refers to this as a clinical team. The two individuals that arrived at my mother‘s house were both paramedics. When I asked about the credential and they told me they were paramedics and that once they screened my mom, the nurse practitioner would do a virtual visit. I was told there is usually only one paramedic that shows up, but there was two because one was training the other one. The one in training was the one that is taking all of the health, history and medication information. That individual lacked professionalism and looked disheveled. He had a long sword type earring pierced through his ear, which I felt looked unprofessional. He lacked ability to have a conversation with an elderly woman. I honestly hope this young man has a lengthy training process because the idea of him coming in to a home by himself is quite scary. I will say the other paramedic was very professional at the end and assisted me with the virtual visit with the nurse practitioner. I wish he would’ve stepped in at the beginning of the visit, I think it would’ve made my mom feel much better.
