I need -5 stars for Disney. They have become a bad company, using their inspirational and magical past under Walt to falsely get them through. Disney required me to subscribe to Hulu to watch the Oscars. I wanted to see the Oscars, and I’m very disappointed in myself that I did so. Angry. I will be on the lookout for such maneuvering in the future. I hate that. I’ll cancel the Hulu subscription right after the Oscars, and leave a negative review to Disney as well. There are some choice words I’d use for Disney right now. It has sooo moved from inspiration and magic to the bottom line. I wish Walt could reach out from the grave and remove the current leadership, ship them back to sanitation for remedial training.

Disney World, Great Place. The Travel Agencies? Not so much.
Disney World is an amazing place! But their travel agencies, make you not want to go there. First of all, if I were to book a day trip to Disney World, in the CHEAPEST PARK, for 3 people, it would still be $540! That’s absurd and absolutely ridiculous. That’s not even including resort fees, transportation fees, and the plane tickets! Including all of that, it would be about $1256. That’s insane, for ONE DAY? If Disney want more visitors, they need to lower their prices, soon.

Expensive place
The place is expensive with cheap customer service. I expected more reliable service from Disney!

Cowardice
Made a complaint because a manager made a slanderous comment and a few other things so I try to make a formal complaint and when I get an email response from the executive team I get asked what's the issue so I tell the person, then I get a 2nd one back telling me to report to the very people im reporting, I dont know what procedures they teach at disney, but clearly it's not the correct 1s, but I'm shocked they teach pass the problem on to the next person.
Complete joke no wonder disney is going down hill.

No "Pixie Dust"
Executive Guest Experience Review
Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village
Room 7653
Stay Dates: December 26, 2025 – December 31, 2025
Reservation: 755126162781 (Booked in early 2025)
This letter is submitted to formally document significant service and experience deficiencies during our stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village from December 26 through December 31, 2025, a reservation made well in advance in early 2025. Given the premium pricing, advance planning, and Disney’s own positioning of this property as a deluxe, family-focused resort, the experience fell materially short of reasonable expectations.
Arrival, Check-In & Special Occasions
Check-in was notably uneventful and lacked any sense of welcome or personalization. This was particularly concerning given that:
• This was our grandchildren’s first visit to Disney, and
• One grandson was celebrating a 10th birthday, a milestone clearly identified by Disney-issued pins worn throughout the stay.
Beyond the pins, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever—no room recognition, no small gesture, no welcome note, and no effort to elevate what should have been once-in-a-lifetime moments for first-time guests. No “pixie dust”!
Room & Amenities (Room 7653)
We reserved a family suite at a deluxe resort. Despite this:
• No complimentary bottled water or basic snacks were provided
• We were required to place an Instacart order to meet basic needs
This level of amenity offering is inconsistent with the price point and brand promise of a deluxe Disney resort.
Late Check-Out Request (Denied)
We requested a late check-out of 1–1.5 hours, explicitly explaining that one of the children was ill. This request was denied by Rachel, with no flexibility, accommodation, or empathy demonstrated. Given the circumstances, length of stay, and overall spend, this rigid response was particularly disappointing and inconsistent with expected service recovery standards.
Refillable Cups – Inconsistent Information
We asked multiple cast members about the complimentary refillable cups, only to later learn that:
• Cups may be refilled only at resorts, not in the parks
This limitation was not clearly disclosed and resulted in unnecessary confusion and inconvenience.
Theme Park Experience & Birthday Recognition
Despite the birthday pin being worn consistently throughout the week, there was no acknowledgment at all in the parks—no interaction, no greeting, no recognition. For a company built on storytelling and magic, this absence was striking. No “pixie dust”!
Dining Plan / Points System Transparency
The dining points system lacks transparency:
• Food locations do not clearly identify what qualifies as a snack versus a quick-service meal
• This ambiguity resulted in frequent unexpected out-of-pocket expenses
The system, as currently implemented, feels confusing and financially disadvantageous to guests.
Fast Pass / Lightning Lane Value
We purchased Fast Passes only to later discover that:
• Each attraction may be accessed only once per day using Fast Pass
This material limitation was not clearly disclosed at purchase and significantly diminished the value proposition.
Character Presence in Parks
Character interaction was extremely limited. Over the entire stay, I observed approximately five characters total across all the parks. For children—particularly first-time visitors—this was a major disappointment and inconsistent with Disney’s reputation.
Resort Activities & Children’s Programming
At no point were resort excursions, children’s activities, or on-site programming communicated. We were not informed at check-in, provided a schedule, or directed to where this information could be found. We only learned of available activities after our stay, resulting in missed opportunities that cannot be recaptured.
Positive Recognition
Despite the issues noted, several cast members delivered exceptional service and deserve recognition:
• Justin (Lobby)
• Don (Sanaa)
• Evan (Be Our Guest)
Their professionalism and warmth stood out in an otherwise disappointing experience.
Conclusion & Expectation
This stay—planned nearly a year in advance and purchased at a premium—felt transactional rather than magical. The deficiencies outlined above represent systemic communication gaps, missed service recovery opportunities, and a failure to deliver on Disney’s stated guest experience standards.
We respectfully request that this matter be reviewed at an executive level and that appropriate service recovery consideration be extended to reflect the gap between expectations and actual experience.

Disney Bundles are not what they appear to be
I purchase a Disney+ bundle which included Hulu and ESPN. Problem is I never seem to find a sport on ESPN I would care to watch. When I go to ESPN it has a button to unlock the content. I called customer service and the gentleman told me I needed to upgrade my bundle. Why should I have to upgrade my bundle when the game I want to watch is advertised to be on ESPN, not 2 or +. Cannot recommend anything Disney has to offer.
