Track tire purchases & mileage for Discount Tire warranties. My 2023 tire purchase was still under warranty, contrary to what they initially said.

I went into Discount tire to get tires rotated. The guy that met me at the door went out to get the milage as usual and I wondered what he was going to try to up sell me. He returned and said my tires were ok but I really needed new wiper blades. My last time they were telling everyone they had bad lugnuts. I asked how he knew I had to have new wiper blades? He said they were badly worn and clips looked worn. I informed him my wife had just spent $60.00 less than a month ago to replace the blade assembly's. When I look at them they are black in the whole blade and looked brand new. A few months ago we purchased a tire from Discount Tire that blew up on interstate 40 late at night and the whole sidewall blew out. I had not hit anything and the car was swerving violently and it also blew up the TPM on that tire. I had no spare because the car system was a portable air compressor and sealer. I had the car towed to a Discount tire in Lebanon. I asked them to save the tire for me but they did not and would not even take a picture for me. The tire was less than a year old. I use Pernille tires but when I damaged the sidewall on one of the Pernille tires Discount Tire in Murfreesboro told me since they could not get a Perelli at that time they had another brand that was just as good. I am losing faith in Discount Tire.

I took my 2020 cadillac xt5 in for tire rotation, got it back and the tire pressure monitor indicated that one of the tire was low, I put air in what I thought was the low tire however, it was not correct, they failed to reset the TPMS. Also this is the 2nd time I went to Discount tire for a rotation and the following day four a nail in one of the tires. I'm not sure if they did that, but it just a coincidence that it has twice.

I was very happy with the price, and the discounts provided to me for my new tires! However, I am unhappy with the knowledge and care provided to my new Mercedes’. Everyone knows you don’t start the threading lug nuts using a power tool! So my new car had to have a hub re-threaded. Next I witnessed the young kid twerking the lug nuts with a torque wrench (as though he was working on an oil rig). I don’t blame the young kid for any of this but I do blame management for not properly training and supervising these young kids so they can advance their technical skills. When I got home I found out the tire pressures range from 37 to 45 psi ridiculous! Different discount tire store : Last year I bought a new set a tires for my other old Mercedes with staggered tires sizes. Here they mounted the wide tires on the narrow rims, and the narrow tires on the wide rims. I didn’t know about this until I had control issues while driving my car! I blame myself for not double-checking their work, but discount tire has a big responsibility since we are entrusting them with our life and the lives of our families!!!

Representative told me new tires I ordered might be up to six months old but in no way one year old. The next day (after tires were installed and vehicle was handed over to me) the new tires were over one year old.

I have been with Discount Tires for a couple of times. The price is on the high-end and the customer service is good.

Store 4th Ave & Bell Rd. Phoenix AZ. This would have been a 5 star review at other Discount Tire stores. At THIS location couldn’t believe once the person finished putting new tire I just purchased on my Audi; just before I drove away, person dropped the lug caps in my hand to put back on myself! WOW! Not worried. Never returning!!!! 🤨
