A letter to Thank Discount Salt Pool and Staff: Hi Don, After you sent the RJ-60+ to combat the lack of chlorine level in my pool, it did overproduce and allowed me to combat whatever it was that was consuming my chlorine. It too was overcome with calcium build up on the chlorinator plates. Acid Treatment you recommended quickly solved that problem. The issue persisted with the calcium flakes blowing back through the returns until late into last summer. They did, however, subside. Everything you did was amazing. From chemical analysis and troubleshooting probable cause was more than any other company could have provided to support their product. I could not be happier that I selected your system and team for my pool. No local pool company (3) could tell me what to do and really did not want to help. But YOU did! You know the science of salt water pools and believed in it.That is the confidence every customer will have with your service. The reasons my issue was persistent, in my opinion, had to do with the following: • The pool conversion was a 33 year Baquacil Pool. I was at wits end each year with the resistance the water had developed to molds and the sensitivity it would have to rainfall where just a single storm could cloud the water despite my expertise in using the product. Each year new and improved mold fighting additives to the products was just not cutting it with a veteran user. • I found that all the pipes were internally coated with white mold (3/8”-1/2”). I replaced the light in the pool and behind it was encased in white mold. All had pink mold on top where ‘some’ light could influence the growth. I think chlorine was killing this infestation off over last summer in every nook and crevice and proved the driver of not being able to identify the reason for low chlorine levels. o Standard chemistry pointed to phosphates as likely culprit, but not the case. o I also incorporated an enzyme treatment to address organic growth this year at 1 oz per week. This summer my pool is pristine. The RJ-60+ is running at only 20% and my chlorine levels are perfect and my chemistry balance has been the best ever. I can’t thank you and your staff enough for their help and support. Anyone considering conversion would be nuts to trust any other product. Trust me, Hayward could care less about their customers after a sale. Your DSP team is the BEST. Regards, Jeff Kearns

I received my salt cell bypass for my pentair IC 40 and when installing it the threads didn’t match. Very disappointed. This is a follow up regarding my first review. I just received a call from Discount Salt Pool customer service. What a first class business. They have agreed to send me the proper bypass for my IC 40 and refunded me the purchase price of the first bypass. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Discount Salt Pool.
