We are sorry to hear this customer had a bad experience. We reviewed the ticket history. We found one ticket where the customer reported an error without additional details, and our technical support responded that we've seen similar errors when there were issues with WordPress plugins. So that would be the first thing to check for troubleshooting. We found two follow-up tickets with an accusatory tone, and we asked for more details and we received no reply. We understand having website issues can be frustrating and we are here to help. However, that also means we need to get the details so we can provide help. If we provided horrible support, we would not have lasted for over 20+ years. Finally, we understand there are many other hosting choices out there. We list our features and pricing on our site, our staff is available to answer any pre-sales questions, and the customer freely chose to sign up with us. The customer is free to choose another host and cancel service with us. They can let our billing team know the situation and we would provide a prorated refund. Our goal is to provide excellent hosting services - not to keep customers hostage. We wish this customer the best for their online presence.

We are sorry to hear that this customer was not happy with our services. After searching our helpdesk, we only found one cancellation ticket and no other contact with our support department.

I'm sorry to hear that this customer had a bad experience. Our billing system is automated like most hosting providers. The main avenue for support is through our helpdesk. We can typically handle most support inquires via our helpdesk, but if more technical discussion is necessary we will schedule a phone call or video web conference call. Unfortunately, at this time, chat is not manned as all our staff is working from home due to covid-19. Please also note that we do not outsource our chat support to other companies like many hosting providers. Please also look through the other reviews here and you'll see that we do provide good support. We have been in business since 2003. If we consistently provided terrible support, we wouldn't be in business for so long.

We can understand the reviewer's frustration, but the claim of no communication from us is not right. We send renewal notifications to the account owner, which in this case, was the reviewer's IT tech provider. Our records on the account owner did not contain the reviewer's contact information - so we would not be communicating with the reviewer. When payment was not received, we contacted the account owner several times and we received no replies. Prior to cancelling the account, we suspend accounts wherein the website is not accessible. Even with the website being down, we received no replies or tickets. Therefore, for this type of situation of abandoned site, we will cancel the account. The other unfortunate situation here is that the Domain Name was also not paid for - thus we did not renew the domain. From my review of the tickets, the reviewer emailed us twice and we responded twice but the emails bounced since the email was using a domain name that had expired. No other contact information was provided in the ticket so our team could not contact the reviewer. Please contact us using a different email address and also provide a phone number and we can get in contact with you to see what can be done to resolve the situation.

Yes, there was an outage on one SQL server among our many SQL servers. The customers that were using databases on that one SQL server were affected for about 3.5 hours. Our support staff responded to the ticket you submitted and we posted about the outage in our forum and we provided a postmortem as well. We understand that any downtime has negative impacts on our customers and we work hard to keep our services up an running. We did not have a similar SQL server outage two times in a week. I beileve the "second outage" that is being referred is related to a planned maintenance. To maintain security and system stability, we must perform maintenance on the servers from time to time.
