Uptime has been 100% in my 6 months with DiscountASP. Issues I had early on were mostly from develop.ent issues, yet customer service was quick to respond with potential fixes even though problems were on my side. Would certainly recommend.

Because of client demands, I host sites in other places, with other companies and in every cloud in the sky. Some of these companies are good but none match the service, the response time and the professional approach of DiscountASP.

I went to Discountasp to host my website. It's been a disaster. First there are all the hidden fees that other hosting services don't charge. For example, SSL costs $100 a year with Discountasp, where most other hosting services provide it for free. Backups? Extra charge. Wordpress? Extra charge. etc, etc. Now you might think, but well they'll give you great technical support. Think again. I had an issue with the configuration and they just kept blaming plugins. I finally had to just abandon Discountasp with six months remaining on the my term. Money down a rat hole. Take your business elsewhere.

We are sorry to hear this customer had a bad experience. We reviewed the ticket history. We found one ticket where the customer reported an error without additional details, and our technical support responded that we've seen similar errors when there were issues with WordPress plugins. So that would be the first thing to check for troubleshooting. We found two follow-up tickets with an accusatory tone, and we asked for more details and we received no reply. We understand having website issues can be frustrating and we are here to help. However, that also means we need to get the details so we can provide help. Based on our 20+ years of experience, we'll go step by step to troubleshoot. You can check out the other reviews here and you'll see many positive reviews of our support. If we provided horrible support, we would not have lasted for over 20+ years. Finally, we understand there are many other hosting choices out there. We list our features and pricing on our site, our staff is available to answer any pre-sales questions, and the customer freely chose to sign up with us. The customer is free to choose another host and cancel service with us. They can let our billing team know the situation and we would provide a prorated refund. Our goal is to provide excellent hosting services - not to keep customers hostage. We wish this customer the best for their online presence.
